McKay was in his lab, looking over 5 consoles at once, he had about a dozen white boards full of calculation anther 6 simulations running and antoher bunch of objects observing hte ZPM. "Jeannie's theory was quite intresting, creating a bridge... maybee if I manipulate a couple of more things..." he was trying to see if what he had tried with his sister a while back was possible to re-charge a ZPM. After a couple more hours of simulating and calculating McKay finaly got it. "Col Sheperd, Captain Ford. I think you will want to see this." |

Walking down to the lab that Rodney was in he was not working today. Hopefully whatever Rodney had to show him was good because it wasn't a good day. "Rodney I thought I told you this is my day off. Anything can wait until tomorrow." Standing in the lab it was weird he had a ZPM there but it was one of the drained ones. |

"I'm on my way." Aiden replies over the radio. He heads to a transporter and transports to one close to McKay's lab. He gets out of the transporter and heads towards McKay's lab. The door automatically opens and he walks in. He sees McKay and Colonel Sheppard there. "Okay, what am I here for McKay?" He asks in a voice like he was interrupted during something important. Aiden wanted to have some time off as he was on the Enterprise for the past few weeks doing reconnaissance. He has his arms crossed while waiting for McKay to reply to his question. |

McKay groaned to himseld he should have known that it was their day off. But he quickly forgot about htat and continued to something more important. "Well as we all know one of our main stresses has been lack of power correct?" he didnt wait for an answer. "Well I've found a way to actualy re-charge a ZDP." |

"That's all good McKay. But I don't know the first thing about ZPMs besides being a power source using a small bit of subsomething." Aiden is starting to wonder why he was called to this meeting as he has no clue about the science stuff and isn't very intelligent. However if anyone asks him questions about weapons, he knows everything. "What are we going to do with a recharged ZPM?" He asks McKay. The Enterprise has already got a ZPM. Aiden hopes it's for Atlantis as the city needs 3 in total for all of it's systems to run at full capacity. |

"McKay if you can recharge it then do so. We really need ZPMs since even with our fleet we can still be defeated by the wraith amassing a fleet." Standing there he would wait for him to recharge it there but it as not likely to happen. "Alright go ahead and recharge it. If this works you have two other ZPMs to recharge down in storage." |

"Yes but I don't Think you uderstand the science of it. But no matter. The point is is I can Re-charge those ZPMs it will probably activate the Drone Factory in the city. Also with that Much power i'm sure w'ell be able to pick up hte satelite weapons, therfore not only making Atlantis much more fortified but also allowing us to perhaps bring hte fight to them. O and i htink htere might be a way to re-build puddle jumpers and upgrade them into fighters." McKay said while working htough his mess and activaing the re-charge button. "Which will ultimatley make the Dedalus much more powerful. " |

Activating his radio to the command center he knew exactly what to do. "Rodney unless this is apart of your plan then I am ending this." Speaking into his radio, "Command center activate the grounding stations. Divert the excess power into the ocean." That was the only way to stop the city from going critical and he really liked the city the way it was. |

Rodney shook his head, "It is part of the plan, the energy overload is simply a sensor malfuction you see all this power flooding into hte ZPM in a normal laboratory creates a couple of blips. Nothing to wory aobut i'' have it back in a second." with that Rodney stoped the ZPM re-charging and the power levels returned to normal. "ehter you see nothing to worry about and hte ZPM is at full power levlels" |

"Well it worked." Rodney said. He took the ZPM out of it's Re-charge socket. "Here you are Major Shepard." he said as he handed hte device to the Major. "One fully charged ZPM." |

Aiden feeling all left out of the fun. "That was cool Rodney. Perhaps you should try to fix the sensors so it won't blip in the future." He advises McKay. He was so excited seeing a ZPM recharged in front of his eyes. ZPMs were always cool to him as they light up and make a sound as well. He doesn't know how it works exactly, but he likes ZPMs none the less. "So have you got anything else to tell us McKay? It's my day off remember." He asks McKay. He wants to go back to his quarters and read a book that he was reading before he was called away to McKay's lab. |

"Well nice job McKay. Charge the three other ones then go ahead and place them in the ZPM room. We need have them ready since we only have two of them on hand. Don't plug another one in until I tell you to." Walking off from the room he was going to catch up on all the mission reports he had been missing. "McKay I shall see you in a few days."
