The Rift // Seals Overview The Rift is a form of transportation between realms that are scattered around Daem's inner and outer surfaces, one of the most infamous realms being Abeyance (The Pit) and Dredge (Home of the Reapers). Each Rift or Seals (as most call them whom are unfamiliar with their names) connects or links to the planes or realms, allowing entrance or an exit through them but requires a series of symbols, phrases or a "key". Anyone can say a word and probably open it, right? No. While it may seem so Daem and those who guard the Rifts were more subtle and smarter with that kind of logic, considering they knew someone would take it for advantage. Likewise, they made it so to where only a Revenant or Demon, Reaper, or what-have-you under the rank of being a guardian of the Rift can open the Seals and enter within the realms. Dredge remains locked away and forbidden of any entrance from the outside worlds, including those on Democritus, Necropolis, Lithe, and Abeyance. Sanctioned and enclosed off the realm remains hidden, lost, and closed off for general and safety purposes, and for their own sake. How They Work Locations Some of the key locations were pointed out above in the Overview, but just to be clear below this a small/short list will be provided with the realms that are connected to the Rift/Seals in which can or cannot have accesses granted to them (and that will be provided).
While each location has its own Rift or Seal, they can be broken or disabled, but that takes enormous amounts of power, energy and built-in core with their Catalyst or whatever heart they are designed with. A Catalyst or Cyst core heart wouldn't properly be able to destroy it necessarily unless the beast holding the Catalyst or Cyst is of a higher rank or power within its community of species (such as Revenants). There only a selected few that can gain access to their realms whilst others are limited and can only roam Democritus itself unless sent to Lithe after death. Some ask if there is a form of sanctuary after death or if its just Lithe, but the question can never be answered. Entrance: How To Guide This is currently under construction and will be worked on periodically until finished. Please, do not steal or use this for your own head worlds or creations. |
