How do I change the color of a person's group/title? Everyone in the same group has the same color. For example: everyone on the Flan-dasy Flan tribe has an orange name. So to change a color, this must be done under the user groups. Go to manage user groups on the side, under User and Groups. Edit the group who's color you want to change. Find the color section towards the top, and type either the color name (red, blue) or the hex value (FF0000, 0000FF). How do I turn off PMs? This is explained in more detail in a thread but you do it in groups as well. Go to the user group, hit edit, scroll down, and find the PM option. Turn them off. I turned them back on, but there can only be a max of 50 PMs! That is not good at all; how do I change that? This is another thing that is done by group. Go to the appropriate group under manage user groups, click edit. Scroll to the middleish, you'll see a place where you can type the max number of PMs that can be stored. Make it a huge number. There is a max of about 30,000 so if you go over that then it'll default to that. I want seconds on my clock. What do I do? Under System Settings on the side click "Date and Time Format." Then put this in the long time format: M j Y, h:i:s A And that's it. Someone was just voted out. How do I change what forums they see? You have to change their permission masks. See the Permission Masks thread K I did that, but they can still reply in the main thread, and I don't want that. What do I do? Once again this is done in permission masks, so go look at that thread for directions. I want 10 people to see the merge thread but I don't want to edit 10 permission masks. What do I do? You can go to manage forums, click Permission Masks on the forum you want them to see, and check off the proper permission masks. Tribe swap! People need new avatars. Where do I put them? Go to find/edit/suspend users and search the user who needs a new avi. Click edit (not their name) and scroll down to avatar options. Put the URL in the proper place and set the size as well. You can also change the user group here. My host thread is in the middle of the site. That is weird. I want it on the bottom or top. How can I fix this? Go to "reorder forums" on the side. And then use the dropdowns to reorder the forums. Simple as that. Spam challenge is coming up, so I need flood control off. What do I do? Flood control is based on user group. So first go to manage user group, and hit edit on the group that needs flood control to be off (the merge tribe, a premerge tribe, etc). Scroll to the middle-bottomish where it says "can avoid flood control?" and select "yes." Now you're done. K but what about quick reply? How do I turn that on? That is by forum. Go to manage forums, click settings on the forum you want quick reply on, scroll to the middle/bottom, and click "yes." |
