TO HELP THIS BE A FUN & WELL-STRUCTURED GAME, THERE
ARE A FEW RULES IN PLACE THAT I WANT EACH PLAYER TO
BE AWARE OF . . .

BROBST'S GAME RULES:

1) This is an ANONYMOUS CHARACTER GAME. Period. You're not to discuss anything about this game with ANYONE.
It doesn't matter if you think they could be playing or not. YOU. DO. NOT. DISCUSS. THIS. GAME. WITH. ANYONE.
Don't even hint about it. NEVER. A huge part of me hosting these games involves an extensive casting process so
that I know all players will abide by these rules. DO NOT BREAK THAT TRUST. Playing in this game and seeing how
close you can get to breaking the whole anonymous thing is like throwing my game out the window. I host these for
fun & to give all members a true Survivor playing experience. I spend roughly 60 to 70 hours a week running these
games for all of you. If you're trusting me to run a fair and fun game.......I'm trusting YOU to play solely within the
confines of COMPLETE & TOTAL ANONYMITY. Make EVERY EFFORT keep your IDENTITY HIDDEN. And for goodness
sake, if your birthday is coming up -- DO NOT POST A SINGLE WORD ABOUT IT. That's obviously a dead giveaway.
But most players have no idea how easily they can almost give themselves away........even inadvertently. Don't get
specific about things you're discussing.......what your plans are this weekend.......whether you're in town or not......
.....favorite movies, favorite TV shows, favorite Survivor episodes, etc. And NO DISCUSSING which Survivor podcasts
and such that you listen to or whether or not you've ever applied to the real show
. Survivor fans are a tight-knit bunch.
All chatter of this nature that could give your identity away needs to be ELIMINATED.

2) No one is allowed to admit to how many games you have or haven't played or whether this particular forum is new
to you. It doesn't matter if you are a first-time player or a seasoned veteran. THIS IS A BLANK SLATE TO EVERYONE.
If for some strategic reason you want to ACT like you're a newbie even if you're not.......that's fine if it's part of your
strategy. You can ACT as if things are new to you if you want. But you CANNOT flat out go around telling people that
it's your "first" game. No one needs to talk about how many games you have or haven't played. That could really get
dangerously close to cheating -- so avoid it completely. It's for the best.

3) Your password is not to be shared with anyone. And your password needs to remain the same. DO NOT make ANY
changes to anything at all about your account. (((including your avatar))) I spend lots of time setting up each profile
the exact same way. KEEP EVERYTHING AS IS, PLEASE. Thank you in advance. And if you're online - you need to be
SHOWING that you're online. No logging in "anonymously" so that players can't see that you're here. And these are
PRIVATE BOARDS only for you players & myself. Our game board link is NOT to be shared with anyone EVEN AFTER
the game has concluded and the winner is announced. If former players want to check it out afterwards -- they need
to get the link from ME. And DO NOT post anything at all about this game on facebook or anywhere else until we have
a winner. *Don't "hint" about anything in your statuses on there. That's a big no-no.* I do have access to every player's
profile and I'll login regularly as each player to monitor all messages going around. (99% of the time, I'll only be on your
account if YOU are already logged in. And I'll only be on there briefly.)

4) No one is allowed to reveal ANYTHING about their real-life identities until after the game has wrapped & we've finished
the Cast Reveal. DO NOT reveal your name, your age, your sex, your marital status, etc. No personal family info or job info
is to be shared. No location info is to be shared. NOT EVEN TIMEZONES. This is an ANONYMOUS experience until the Cast
Reveal. And after the game has concluded, please DO NOT start up any type of facebook group or anything like that. These
games need to not be connected to any groups on facebook - even if those are closed pages. So please don't start up any
group pages after our Cast Reveal. I will very likely have to ask you to take it down. So, there's no reason to create it in
the first place. Thank you.

5) All interaction & activity is to be done when you are logged in here to our game board. DO NOT make plans to discuss
this game by finding out any player's facebook, twitter, or email, instant messenger, or text message, etc. etc. etc. You can
do that AFTER the winner is announced and the Cast Reveal is finished. I have access to everything going on here, and if you
try to cheat by ignoring any of these rules -- I will find out. Trust me. So don't do it. Let's keep this game clean. I don't want
to have to be in a position to penalize any player or disqualify anyone or blackball anyone from being invited back in the future.

6) As a host, I'm NEVER at any point to become a part of your strategy here. If you attempt to use the host as some type of
"leverage" by putting words in my mouth or manipulating anything about my role here -- you won't like the resulting action.
My job is to run the challenges, run Tribal Council, and maintain the entire game. Let me do my job. I take it very seriously
and spend eons of time running our board. If you're having a problem with something -- please contact me directly. And also,
your activity/participation when conflicts arise is up to you. Don't ask me to inform your tribe if you have to miss a challenge.
That's your job. Not mine.

7) It may sound silly to add this, but if it's late and you've had a few "adult beverages"........DON'T LOGIN TO THE GAME.
Just don't. You WILL say something that you WILL regret and you WILL wish you could take it back the next day, but you
WON'T be able to. So take my advice: It's impossible to play this game without making costly mistakes if you're under the
influence of "adult beverages." So, stay away from the game during that time. You'll thank me later.

8) We all have different personalities. But as a general rule, let's try to keep the humor around here at, say, a PG-13 level.
Using our game board like it's a junior high bathroom wall is unnecessary. The website that our game is hosted on is run by
admins who can completely shut our game down with no warning whatsoever if they consider language and such becoming
excessive. I have zero control over that. But heeding my recommendation to keep things at a reasonable level is a good rule
of thumb. This includes photos. Keep it clean. And speaking of photos -- Screenshots are not allowed. (i.e. Screenshotting
a vote from your Voting Booth or a PM or whatever) If people want to highlight and copy conversations and forward it to
players, that's perfectly fine & that's their call. Screencaps/Screenshots, however, are my call and they're NOT ALLOWED.
If you receive a screenshot from anyone at any point during the game, please forward it to me immediately.

9) Yes, these games are fun. Yes, we're playing as characters. Yes, there will be drama. But also remember that THESE ARE
REAL PEOPLE ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE SCREEN. It's rare for me to intervene, but if personal attacks start crossing a line
.......it's just not called for. We all draw our lines in different places, but let's all use our head so that the line between "game"
and "life" is not ever crossed. And on the subject of real life and game life NOT blending.........it's absolutely against the rules
to try to make up some kind of lie faking something serious in real life to try to gain sympathy or leverage in the game. I don't
care whether you thought that was good or bad on the real show, and I don't care if other games allow things like that. I DON'T
ALLOW THEM HERE. Do not try to blend real life & game life. The game is the game. Real life takes priority. This is to be a fun
hobby. Let's keep it that way.

10) The character that you've been assigned is your identity in this game. But you can play however you choose. Some may
have played online games before, and some may be new to this. You can adopt a "personality" as you play the game. You can
choose to play cutthroat, under the radar, be a leader, be a follower, etc. This game is what you make of it. It's a social game,
it's a psychological game, it's a strategy game. It's SURVIVOR! Think about the way things have been done on the show. Be
prepared to think ahead and roll with the punches.

YOUR CONFESSIONALS:

* * * Confessionals are easily MY FAVORITE PART OF EVERY GAME. Strive to be active and entertaining in your Confessional.
Don't wait for me to ask questions in here - take initiative. Things are happening around you all the time. If you think nothing's
happening..........you're likely not very "in tune" with the players around you. When you're ready to chat about the game in here,
just start a new topic & call it "Round #1" or "First Impressions" or whatever you want. And no matter how many posts you make
in your Confessional, it DOES NOT show up in your board post totals. So keep up with posting here throughout the game. Nothing
is more disappointing at the end than when your allies come to read about what you were up to behind-the-scenes and you have
nothing interesting to say. Having an active and engaging Confessional tends to reflect better gameplay. * * *

MORE ABOUT CONFESSIONALS:

* * * They are an EVERY ROUND thing. As in, you're expected to be writing in them EACH AND EVERY ROUND. And please don't
wait to write in it the FIRST TIME on any particular round just before a challenge. That is a wasted round for you. If you're wanting
to be invited back for future seasons, you need to make solid efforts in your Confessional. Inconsistent and sporadic Confessionals
or just waiting until I beg you to write in there = I CAN'T INVITE YOU FOR FUTURE GAMES. Sorry y'all. That's just the breaks.
I bend over backwards running these games for each of you. So, do what Survivors do...........they "CONFESSIONALIZE."
Good Confessional writers make for good players. And good Confessional writers return for future seasons. * * *

Sooooooooooo.......with all that said........I trust that every player will follow these
rules as it will make this experience much better. You have my word that I will do
everything possible to keep this game running smoothly and fairly. I'm excited to
see what each player brings to the table ~ so let's get started!
:D

* * * PLEASE COMMENT HERE SO I KNOW YOU'VE READ & UNDERSTAND THE
RULES OF THE GAME AND THAT YOU'RE 100% COMMITTED TO KEEPING THIS
A 100% ANONYMOUS GAME. THANKS. * * *
