Well, my worst fears have been confirmed. After so many games NEVER have a vote cast against me (other than Dawn once in Scotland) except on the round I actually got voted out, I am actually the backup target tonight. Well, at least I am to Fabio and Ian. I don't think I am to everyone else, but I am not 100% certain. I am still a little on edge that if Lisa wins immunity, people could panic on pulling the Fabio trigger and the vote may be too close for comfort. It may land me on the jury. And if it does, so be it. I am going to write a nice message throwing people under the bus beforehand and have it ready to post/message, and I will go out in a blaze of glory. But I'd RATHER send Ian and Fabio to jury. If those guys go and F7 is actually me/Tasha/Fran/Erik/Jeremy/Yul/Phillip I feel like a lot of those people might have interest taking me to the end.... as a goat. Lol. Never thought I'd say THAT in a game before, but it's true. People keep viewing me as uninvolved, as an outsider. They keep thinking that THEY are the one person I am talking strategy to, and everyone else still sees me as friendly with no game skills. Except now I am talking strategy to EVERYONE and making them all feel like they are the only ones. None of them are the only ones. I keep telling them all how they are the one person I trust, I am laying it out on the line with them, I see a future in this game with them... I don't even know which person I actually being truthful with. |

What have the chats been like with Fabio and Ian lately? Is it same old, same old? Or do they like talk down to you & give you the sense they're patting you on the head? |

Honestly, a little of both. At first, before the Brenda vote, it was more same old same old. Which is Fabio casually socializing with me. Not really talking game, but pretending like he is. Feeding me BS like he sucks at challenges (we all know that is a lie, I've seen how fast he posts a gif ), about how he had to "save himself" last round. Like, please. He knew he was never in danger which is why he's so cocky. Trust me, if he had to "save himself," if things had actually been that dire for him, you better believe I would have tried to keep Brenda. But today there is a slight change. The same "I suck at challenge" crap. But the refusal to talk backup votes. Which is so annoying, and sooooooo transparent. Every single round this knucklehead and his bestie Ian have told me who is the vote, and who is the backup. Not discussed, but TOLD me. Now he says he has no clue. And he also says Fran pre-voted. I wanted to be like "uhhhh if Fran told you she pre-voted she didn't mention a backup?" Please. Here is a word of advice, Fabio: if I am your backup vote and you are pretending we are buds, give me another name. Just write a little PM to that person and say "hey I hope you don't mind, but I've gotta tell Ciera it's you." Make up some BS reason why. It's honestly like he thinks I am stupid and don't know how the game is played. Trust me, Fabio, you are wrong there. I tried to open up and be sociable with him but he had his Boys Club and he was set and he never gave me a shot, and that'll be his loss in the long run I think. It'll put him on the jury. Or if he somehow makes F2 the only person I'd vote for him over is Ian. These guys have not played the game. They have told everyone else what to do, and because of the tribal politics of a huge tribe, people just went with it. Don't get me wrong they (me included early on) were sheep. But I WANTED to be a sheep to start out. And isn't it funny how everyone else in the game realizes I am worth communicating with except these two guys "calling the shots"? It's cockiness. Plain and simple . They are so convinced they have already won the game that they are breaking the "take no player for granted rule." And you know me. I don't tolerate that shit. Fabio is more out front in his behavior, but Ian is far worst. He is more of a "pat you on the head" type. If he even bothers to respond to you. "Hi Ciera! Lisa is going home! I haven't even thought about a backup. Talk to you some other time!" I tried real hard to open actual communication with Ian, due to crush on avatar, as you know. And he has never done anything but be extremely antisocial. And I could say, maybe it's just me? But it's not. Even Ian's "allies" say he is never around and never gives any substance. He isn't even trying anymore, because cockiness. The only reason Fabio is the target and Ian isn't is because Ian is like a non-entity in this game, and honestly I probably got more substantive messages from freaking Woo. Ian thinks he is calling the shots, but he is essentially WOO. Like, actually pretend you want to be strategic with me. It's not hard. I message you idiots everyday and try to do it. And you respond to me like I am a newbie. Sorry boys, but it's not my first rodeo. And for you both, please, a lesson learned. That no player taken for granted thing is legit, and it is the golden rule of Survivor. It's the reason why Phillip never comes up as a target. And it's the reason why I won't get voted out tonight even if Lisa wins. Because we've both made our rounds and talked to EVERYONE. Yes, Ian and Fabio... I even make sure to always talk to YOU even thought you both make it clear you are uninterested (especially Ian). I just think about Brenda on jury and how I wish I had gotten to know her sooner, and how I wish she was still in the game. And I hope when Fabio ends up on the jury (tonight, Sunday night, Tuesday night, whenever) it brightens her day a little bit. If I was in her shoes (which I easily could have been, honestly, and I could be in her shoes tonight), it would brighten mine! |

Here is a great example of how much effort Ian puts into his relationship with me.
That is legit the entire message he just sent me. Like, it's barely even English. It is like caveman speak. He can't even take the time to type an actual PM. |

Also, gonna throw it out there that I am doing this important thing called "jury management." I don't know how many people did it with Brenda, but NO ONE did it with Lisa. I legit like Lisa (and Brenda) but still. JURY MANAGEMENT, PEOPLE. Phillip legit lost Lisa's jury vote I think based on his interactions with her. She was so upset by the way he talked to her, she won't forget it. And now her and Bren are gonna sit in the jury and stew about all these people who were afraid to make a move, and who never gave them a shot. And now I am going to have to start winning immunities to ENSURE I don't join them quite yet. Gotta send Fabio or Ian to them first. |
