Remember to use the second code offered by Tiny Pic

"IMG Code for Forums & Message Boards" and also when you go to post this you do NOT have to use the IMG button above as the IMG tags are already in place by tinypic.

I think my pic in the tree mail was good enough practice there

That was the first time I have ever used paint. I'm going to have more of a practice later today when I get home so I know how to use it better

I haven't looked in the archives yet. But at first glance I wonder if it will be something like this.

Player 1 starts the maze, he has to find his way to player 2 and then stop, tinypic and post his results. (maze simplified for understanding).

Then the next player downloads the picture posted above and draws the connection to point 3 and then saves to tinypic and posts his results here.

and then the 3rd person downloads the pic above and starts at his position and draws his way out of the maze... saves, copies to tinypic and posts in the challenge thread.

We WIN!

I looked through all of the archives and didn't see anything that stood out as this competition.

I suspect that it might be something like this, or maybe even a shared word search? Bottom line is, it'll be something that we hav to use together. If wer all around tonight, we could try doing a random maze and bouncing it bck and forth and seeing how fast each of s are.. I could find one!

You gals are hot tonight. If the maze doesn't have to be reposted with the same size as the original, I suggest that the player going first reduces the original image to have the whole maze on the screen at once. That way, we won't have to scroll up, down, left and right as we go along. Just as long as it is still big enough to be clear.

For example, it's much harder to work with:

Also, I don't know if you guys are more familiar with tinypic than me but I just noticed that the site asks you to enter a code to avoid spam on your first upload but it doesn't do that for the following uploads. I suggest that we all upload a random picture before the challenge starts and then keep that tinypic session open in a different tab to gain speed.

I've always used imgur... is tinypic better? I went there since it was suggested and saw that it asked me for a code too and I figured it would waste too much time. Do we only need it for the first go?

Why would we want it THAT big? It messed up my screen.

Well, Brobst's picture might be that big, who knows? That's why we could use the resize function in Paint. As for imgur, I never used it but if it allows you to upload a picture to this site then it should be fine.

Good Point Teddy... you should go to tiny pic and upload any picture about 5 minutes before the challenge. Then you will be good to go for the next few minutes.

No, I wouldn't mess with the picture size. I think brobst would print one that would be postable. He hates big photos.

He may even have 4 small mazes all on the same page and number them 1 thru 4.

What else could it be for a relay race and writing on photos?

Eliza has a good point, it could be a word search where one person finds a word, circles it and then uploads the pic and the next person dowloads it and circles his word etc... until all are found.

That could be a strong possibility. I put a word search solver on the tools area.. but you would have to put each letter in the box. It might take a while... but one person could do it while others look live?

Good idea about the word search. I think we'd be fast enough to find the words without help though. Who hasn't done tons of those? I wonder if we will even have time to help each other? We certainly will need to create a working thread and keep an eye on it but it could be quicker to focus on the puzzle itself.

well, did any of you want to meet up about an hour or so before the challenge and maybe practice doing a maze or wordsearch together? That way if one of us is super slow, we can offer advice and just... practice so that we got this challenge down. It wouldn't HURT us, that's for sure.

I'll be online for most of the evening and don't have much in the way of plans tonight, so... I could set this up if you 4 (or even 3) can agree to meet at a certain time.
