Round 7
Adapt.
Stop bitching. Drink Rupert's hippie juice. Include everyone and make people feel safe.
I've been recognizing the value of just accepting where I am and learning about others.

Spencer came back fighting & adapted to help vote off Debb even though he had not really been around to see what the hell was happening in the game. THAT is ADAPTING. He got himself out of a huge pickle, and in the process took targets off of Kim & Dawn as well. Son of a Biscuit eater. How can you not like this guy?
He fights for it. As should we all. I'm sure everyone is drolling to grab Spencer & put him in their pocket.

I mentioned in the dungeon this morning that I have a new found respect for you, Brett. I truly mean that- I've always respected you & your game (even though I complain ;) ) But, THIS game is a whole new way style. You have taken us to a different level & pushed and challenges us as players and how to truly adapt to the game in front of us.

Okay now for a bit of GAME TALK
#1
If I am not safe from tomorrow's vote- I'm screwed. No amount of butt kissing would be able to remedy that. After surviving 2 councils- nobody wants to hear my plea AGAIN. Neither do I.
But, if I were to be marked for execution again, and notice nobody standing up for me or trying to push the vote towards someone else- I would go out guns blazing. I'd completely throw someone under the bus. (of course, that is what I say now- doing it is a different story) ;) But, seriously, if I need to, I will.

#2
As far as who would I vote for? 2 trains of thought.

- First, be comfortable & keep those who I have a stronger connection with (pre-clan & dungeon based). If I do that, it shows loyalty. People like knowing they can depend on others. Hell, I like that! I want to know that people can depend on me & I them. You must be committed. Although, how to address that publicly for those to understand that is dangerous. Just interacting on the boards & responding isn;t enough. The proof is in the pudding. Trust is built with alliances when you follow through with original game plan.

But, people also respect that you think outside the box and THEY may be ADAPTING
to a new strategy.

-Second, keep someone around who maybe more reserved & less game talk.
This is a crazy and critical stage of them game. Solely relying on connections previous to the dungeon is not going to get you far. Someone to possibly have around for future & help with voting bigger threats out. Keeping them around & get them in the jury for me personally or to have sit beside me int he FTC.

So, who will I vote? I guess it depends on who is to be marked. It might be best just to go with the majority. Save myself grief and a possible enemy. I do not believe it's time to be a trail blazer (look what happened to Debb). I'll save that for when we merge.

At some point though, I'm going to have to stop with the "political" answers & give them what they really want. I'll need to rally speak my mind, as I did too early w.the Spencer issue. I just have to wait for the right moment.

I still have faith in Troy, Cindy & Rupert. Keeping an eye out on Dawn & Kenny. I'm trying to "woo" him. I knew he threw a vote my way last time- but, I think that is because he felt he had a duty to Debb, Kim & Penny. After playing movie quotes with him, I hope he's found a new friend in me. I'm trying to re-connect w/Spencer & gain his confidence & trust.

Front runners- Rupert, Fairplay, Eliza, Kenny, Penny
Dark horses-Andrea, Lil
Everyone else in the middle of the pack

I also have to be careful about what I say to others & not being around- due to the fact - I'd I'm still in this game after council on Tuesday- I will be at a disadvantage. I will be travelling to Washington, DC late Wednesday night and will not be back until late Thursday night. I'm not saying squat, to anyone else, until Wednesday gets here. I will not have access to a computer- only my phone. So, this weekend I will practice posting on it & will try to post the parchment w/Debb's name on it here in my confessional. So that way, when you post the links for the vote- I can at lest do vote on the thread.

I can not wait to read your confessionals! Not just comments about how we are adapting to the dungeon & how annoying it is for you to hear all the complaints...but our personal progress in the game. that will be valuable. Also, THANK YOU for not having a black background! I prefer to see my words in black.

How'd the taping go for you this week? I'd love to hear more about the movie.

For now, time to get some of my domestic goddess duties completed. laundry, bathrooms, dusting, cooking...and eating bon bons.

THANK YOU, JESUS!!!!!!! It's not me!!!!!!

*DOING A HAPPY DANCE* Which isn't as fun when nobody is around to see it & share the excitement with you.. ;)

marked this round are Rupert, Spencer, Dawn & Fairplay.

According to my last statement. Anyone who did not vote for me I will not vote for them....so guess who DID voted for me last time? Dawn. Guess who is getting my vote? Dawn.

ALTHOUGH, it will be fun to see what everyone's answers are from the questions I posted. I'm also looking forward to everyone else to ask questions. I want to see how they can handle the pressure. Would be fun if we had someone get their panties in a wad.
OR fluster someone else & get some fire crackers going in this game!

This one wasn't a film. It was several short video promos for LifeChurch.

I've been auditioning for them for like 5 years and FINALLY got cast. :D

Answers from Rupert, Fairplay & Spencer were spot on what I needed.
They are raw. They are fighting.

Dawn, however, really needed to dazzle me & she did not. Especially question #3
If she would have reached out & just addressed that she is not as active as others...or name some ppl she's clearly bonded with. I don't know. It just seems like flat answers. I wish there would have been more Ooomph in it.

These are her answers for my questions

#1 - If you could save 1 person that is marked beside yourself, who would it be & why?

#2 If you could replace your saved person with another in the dungeon, who would it be & why?

#3 -What in your opinion makes for a successful Brobst ORG Survivor winner?

#4 What are the qualifications you look for in someone to build an alliance with?

Thank you all. Again, I'm sorry you guys (and Dawn) have to go through this. Hang in there! I'll be in & out tomorrow and looking forward to your answers.

1) If I could save one person that isn't me, I'd save Rupert. I think that he's worked hard to put himself in a good spot in the game, whether it's in the public forums or in private messaging, and I think that people like him deserve to be here.

2) I wouldn't be able to replace somebody with another person. It's a miserable spot to be in, and since nobody can really figure out the proper way to "adapt," we've left everything to fate.

3) It's a combination of things to make a successful winner. A huge factor, as we can see from the dungeon, is luck. Had we not been thrown in here, we wouldn't be fighting for our lives at random. Good relationships are also key. There's no way to go far without them. I think a good judge of character is needed, too. It's much harder to play a game like this when you can't interact face-to-face with somebody. You can't read facial expressions, and all you have to go by is an avatar played by a person behind a keyboard. You have to know how to read people as best as you possibly can.

4) In terms of building an alliance, I like to look for people who I enjoy being around, first off. I don't want to align myself with somebody who is going to bring others down or make the game miserable for me. They obviously have to be trustworthy, too. If I have even the slightest inkling that somebody might not be 100% who they claim to be in an alliance, I won't be keen on aligning myself with them.

Hope this answers everything, Marcus smile.gif

Oh good Lawrd. I put myself in a pickle by promising to not vote ppl who did not vote me last round. I could stick to my promise & vote Dawn.

Or get caught voting for Rupert a bigger threat & ppl pulling the she can't be trusted statement. Aright I'll never do that again.
