Dabbling into some pre-thoughts about this ftc. I'm not sure what to think of Malcolm's game. I was shocked that he had the idol. I think that was basically all that he had going for him though, so I'm really looking for an eye opener tonight. If I don't get that, I'll continue to think he happened to fall within majority on the Faves side and just coasted. The idol was a nice touch but I think he took orders from a master. Brenda was real good in challenges and I think that's what got her far in this game. Of course she had a good social game because some people weren't that keen on blindsiding her. Namely the people that are there in the F3 with her. She made moves that were strong and important to her and I understand that. And her end game was more impressive than ever, actually. So out of the three, she's player a pretty good game. I would say during the early phases of the swapped tribe and early merge, she wasn't that big of a threat except for physical strength. People made her out to be this image of a queen threat and eventually she lived off of the high. Brought two people she could compete against with her and now she's in the F3. The only other person I would think of voting would be Julia. Julia, I love her. She had this great way to blend in the background but not at the same time. She was known to be a schemer, but not the kind of scheme like Dawn is. No, Julia was smart and had these crazy plans that did work out in numbers, but were the personal relationships there? She was kinda always on Brenda's side and wanted to go with what she wanted to do. I don't think she was thinking much about me and Renyold/Michael/Laura. She was thinking more big picture for her, and how long she could last with us and this facade of a Fans loyalty thing. AKA her votes for the win. I love her and I love her crazy mind. I want to cast this vote for her, I really do but I can't just do that because she's my friend. I'm casting a vote for the best player. |

IMO, Brenda and Julia really messed up last night. Moreso Brenda because I don't think Julia should/could win. |

But do you really want to reward Malcolm for their mistakes? |

Spoiler: click to toggle Look at us, Dawn! Friends forever! And re: what you said, I mean Malcolm played just as good as Brenda. A collosal mistake on her part is enough for me to think Malcolm deserves it. Regardless, I'm going to base my decision on tonight. I'm just leaning heavily towards Malcolm. |

Brenda in my opinion has played the better game out of the three just judging from what I know, I am really interested in hearing what they all have to say. She played a good social game, and she was a dominate player in the challenges. She also had the "huge target" on her back for being such a threat, and she kept all the people that didn't have the balls, or didn't want to get rid of her. She was smart in targeting me, Fran, Laura etc. So far, I am leaning towards her. Malcolm I am most interested in hearing how he played, since I know nothing about him personally or strategically. He was always just there in Brenda's shadow, and I really want to hear what he did better than her, if he can explain well, he may earn my vote. Now Julia, I personally don't like her, and I hate to see her as the last fan standing. But her goal was to get to the end, she made it there. She did everything right for her, and I can't blame her for ratting me out, cause she WAS in fact better off going with Brenda and crew than to flip with me and Corinne, cause she would of been the firs fan CUT. So this is a hard one, I ma not going to vote bitterly, so these players better prove to why they are sitting at the final 3 to earn my vote.

I witnessed very little of their social games because they knew they probably wouldn't have to talk to me for long but Malcolm was much more approachable and genuine to me than Brenda. |

Thank God Brenda's in the Finals so I don't have to choose between Malcolm, Julia, and Dawn. ![]() Brenda was much more social with me than Malcolm was, and it seems like she played a better game, too. She actively went out and she made decisions to vote off people like me, etc, instead of coasting along like I feel Malcolm did. Brenda was also very dominant in the challenges, so she has that side of the game going for her as well. With Julia, it's more of a case of me not getting enough time to talk with her. But from what I hear and from what little I know, she seems like an awful cunt. Sucking up to the Faves is also not the best tactic when compared to leading the Faves as Brenda did. I have no idea what to say to these people other than "am I right about what you did or did you do more?" |

It really feels like I'm the only person here who didn't think Malcolm's game was horrible. I really didn't think he played all that bad. Yes, he was Brenda's puppet for a while it seemed, but considering how close those two were for a while isn't it a bit impressive that Brenda managed to take all the heat and Malcolm somehow slipped through the cracks and wasn't targeted at all? Or at least wasn't targeted as heavily as Brenda? |

I don't think Malcolm's game was horrible at all? He was very sociable and approachable and he was good at never being targeted. The only reason he got votes at F6 is because he had an idol and the girls wanted the idol out, not that they wanted HIM out. I mean I think the fact that they went to F3 speaks to that. Brenda has played an impressive game but she was able to fall back on a lot of pre-existing relationships and people automatically wanting to work with her. Her idol and challenge prowess also made her very hard to take out even though pretty much everyone wanted to at one point or another. Not that I'm knocking her for challenge whoring ![]() Julia, I love her. I find it amazing that she managed to slip into the F3 because for the longest time I thought it was impossible for any fan to get there. But she's very good at selling herself. She's probably gonna talk about what a great defensive game she played, and I think she did just that. This game wasn't hers to play offensively, it was always just about keeping herself alive and getting to the end so to that end she was a success

But I personally think that being able to take heat but still making into the Finals warrants a win over someone who made it while taking less heat. If the person is sociable enough to be a known threat but to not be voted out, they get my vote. I wouldn't vote for Russell though because even though he made most of the strategic moves, he did it while being an ass.
