So I was going through my collection a few days ago, and I had to throw away 3 of my Vpets because of battery erosion, and rusted or stripped screws. I know that this sounds like a dumb question but how do you make your Vpets last? I hated to throw the ones I did out, even though I have replacements for them. When they actually have working batteries in them they don't erode right??? Thanks in advance |

When I know I will not be playing with something for a while. I'll take the batteries out. I know I need to do that more often though. When you unscrew the backs, press on the scres as you turn it. That should help prevent the screws from being stripped. You will also want to use a new screwdriver if you think the screwdriver is the clumsy thing. When I changed screwdrivers, I could not belive the difference a nice new sharp screwdriver made.

Thanks so much for that advice, this may sound dumb but I never thought to press a little harder on the screws to make sure they don't get stripped. Cookies for you!!! :cookie: :cookie: :cookie: |

Take out the batteries when you don't want to play with them for awhile. They will last pretty much forever. Just remember to put the battery cover back on, and tape it closed, as well as re-tightening the screws.
