So here's my first attmepts at reviews

Plot

So the plot was rather intresting, even if I feel it missed a few chances to span out. From what I gathered it was based on a noval, so it might have fleshed out those some points that were cut from the anime. Overall good, if hurt by story telling.

74/100

Storytelling

This.. was poor. Sences felt rushed, even whole episodes once or twice. It hurt the plot more than tell the story, and if it went by my GTE (Go To Example) Attack on Titan when thinking about story being told well I felt it could have been fleshed out WAY more. Battles dragged out abit, more with the reporter with proper interviews and dealing with the romance and tragagy more than just a few sences.

Style

Consitanct, to say the least. While the copy I picked up in CEX was PG, one of the episodes on youtube did contain some boobs (quite randomly, might I add), and actully jarred me more than anything. If the whole anime had taken a more adult approch, it Might have done alittle better, but that dosn't nessaerally mean it's bad.
I'm also glade it didn't drift off into the chibi land like so many other anime's do, espcally ones aimed at younger aduences. It always kept a serous underton, strong enough not to effect anything greatly but always there, like a distant noice that you sometimes catch, but sometimes rearing it's ugly truth when things started getting bad. It fitted quite well, with the main cast being cadets and having to constally face odds that get worse and worse every battle.
Also, there was more than 2 sides, and everyone seemed to have different space ships, uniforms and attiudes. That's a nice change from what I tend to exspect 2 districtly and clearly different sides.

Ending

To try and keep this spoiler free/light, I can't go into this in much detail, but it ended Much better than it started. Spanned over 3 episodes, with a buildup for another 2, it was a great climax to an alright anime.
It also set up a cliffhanger that Could have a sequal, but you were happy with if it didn't. With not only the poltical battlefeild littered with bodies and defeats, backstabs and turnarounds, but the Actule battlefeild being blitzed as well, it felt very fitting.
That is to say, you have to watch the whole seires to understand and appreshate the buildup.

84/100

Overall

An alright series I'd recommend on a cheap budget. I enjoyed it greatly, escaplly for the price. Would I watch it again? Maybe. Will I use some of the main idea's and missed chances from it? Yes, very much so.

227/400 = 69.25% would reccomend for a single seires watch.

If I were to remake...

First off, I'd bad out the story, possibly spanning it over 2 seaons. I'd also bring in more on the two groups that were mentioned but never actully Featured. It was rather a sad, missed chance, I felt. The main issue with this is the paecing and storytelling. That's what's bringing it down. I might also make it slightly more adult themed - fan service is so common these days, but alittle done right wouldn't hurt, I don't think.
