(A character has already been requested put into this thread.)

The Twister Trench was one of the many areas pock-marked with signs of conflict. Constantly battered with twirling pillars of wind, it battered away at the rocky walls that lay within, stripping away the marks of battles past, when Keyblade, claw and competing magic stuck against one another. Yet, in a small area barely 100 yards away, something lay. Something that was forgotten. In older times, nothing would have seemed out of the ordinary, if one gazed up at this point. But now? If one gazed upward, looking towards the setting sun, one would spy something strange, something unnatural.

The faintest hint of a dark dome rose up in the west. Hiding beneath lay something abominable, something unnatural... and it was waking.

Indeed, the sight of the dark dome had not gone unnoticed by one lone traveler who wandered the Badlands. Not just any simple traveler, but a being of pure Light, and a Keyblade Wielder on top of it all.

Kairi didn't know what exactly it was that drove her to depart on these lands. The feeling of dread that lurked about was enough to make the Princess of Heart almost want to go back to the Destiny and forget about this place entirely. Even her new traveling partner for the time being, the magic-user Xelha, refused to come down here, now waiting for her back on the ship. It was only by willpower alone that Kairi made her way through, both in curiosity as to what this world was and on a promise to her new friend that she would find if her missing companion was possibly around here.

Kairi barely avoided the whirlwinds in the Twister Trench, intent on continuing further into this barren wasteland. Instead, she caught sight of the dome that rose up not even a mile away. The strange sight, along with the feelings of Darkness that the Princess sensed within, was enough to make her frown. Part of her wanted to avoid it, either continue her way or go back to her ship to escape whatever possible threat that it contained. However, another side of her wanted to see what it was, find out what exactly was inside and possibly warn anyone else in case it was a danger. It wasn't the wisest choice, but she had to make sure.

And so, summoning her Keyblade to her hand, Kairi cautiously made her way towards the dome.

As if it detected the energy of the coming Princess of Heart, the dome's size begins to fluctuate, growing slightly before contracting some bit, the cycle repeating. It was much akin to a beating heart in and of itself, each pulse slowing shrinking the size of the dome. More and more the dome shrinks, taking on smaller and smaller dimensions, before it barely covers an area bigger than a bed. At that point, the dome's shape twists and contorts, before it collapses into its final form: A cocoon, human-sized, still pulsing.

The undulation continues for some time, before the membrane begins to stretch. As if something side was ready to be released...

Finally, the membrane ruptures, releasing dark, inky smoke into the air. Out of the membrane reaches a hand clad in a black-lace glove, and a utterance: A child-like giggle, not one of joy, but of mischievous intent.

As she neared, Kairi witnessed as the dome fluctuated, every pulse making it shrink. She tightened her grip around Destiny's Embrace, barely keeping herself from trembling. She could feel the essence of pure Darkness seeping into the area from this dome, making her turn pale.

Finally, the dome became a cocoon, the pulsing still going on. The Princess of Heart inched closer, unsure of what was about to be released. When the membrane broke, Kairi took a stance, watching as the gloved hand, along with the dark smoke, reached out. And then the giggle, bringing chills down her spine.

Despite her nerves, she kept it together, remembering her training. With a deep breath, Kairi looked with a stern glance, showing that she was prepared for whatever came out of that cocoon. She just had to ask one question.

"...What are you?"

As more and more of the figure begins to emerge from the dark cocoon, even more dark smoke begins to break into the air, soon covering the area in its dark effluence. It dissipates, and the full figure stands, feminine in form, its arms extended outwards as if to embrace. "Oh my, oh my, oh my." She yawns, and her arms droop back down, as her extended arms were stretched out to get as much of the yawn out as she could. Turning around, she pauses to gaze at Kairi.

If one were to stare, it would quite the stark contrast. As good and lightly as the Princess of Heart appeared, the one who awoke invoked a dark mirror. A long flowing gown made of black lace, the same tincture as her gloves, presses against her form, in some places even seeming too tight. Black and red tennis shoes with vibrantly red laces mark the stark contrast against the gown, and even more so, the veil upon her head, which covered from her hairline to just above her lips. Yet, even with that much of her flesh covered, you could tell that she seemed so... unnatural. Her flesh is pale, so sickly pale, you'd think she was ill with a particularly nasty disease. And her eyes, while hidden, shows a pale yellow glimmer, even behind that dark veil.

A few moments pass between the young women, before the darker of them does something... odd.

"Look at you!" Moving with a swiftness that seemed to contradict her waking state, the young girl move over to Kairi and grabs a hold of her cheeks, pinching them and moving them and tapping on them with her gloved fingers. "Look at those cheeks! Oh, they look cute, like little baby cheeks! Oh, I could just eat them right up!" Jiggling them, she lets go of Kairi's face and begins to spin around, giggling merrily. "Oh, all the fun things to do! Walk and jump and run and dance and..." She pauses, before gazing down at herself. "Wow. I really grew."

Indeed, once Kairi saw the figure emerge in full, she could tell there was something unnatural about her. As the other young woman gazed at her, she gazed back, still sternly and showing no signs of fear. The darkness that she sensed in this woman, along with the glowing yellow eyes behind that veil she wore...it was almost too much for her to handle, but she had to stay strong in case this figure posed a threat.

And then, in the blink of an eye, she came right up to her...and started pinching her cheeks. The Princess of Heart yelped and almost started to flail as the woman smothered her and cooed her like she were a little child, not a girl around the same age.

Suddenly, she was glad Xelha decided to stay behind. She wasn't sure if she wanted the former Ice Queen to watch this embarrassing scenario.

Thankfully, the woman released her hold on her, allowing Kairi to rub her face. Whoever this was, she really had quite the grip. She watched as the dark woman span around, giggling like a child. Any other instant, and this would have been an adorable sight. But for this mystery girl, it just served to unnerve the Princess even more. Just who in the worlds was she?

"How long have you been in that thing?" she asked as the woman stopped to look at herself, trying to contain what little of her composure she still held. Despite her childish antics, Kairi just didn't know what to make of her. Was she simply insane...or was there more to her than it seemed?

The dark-garbed young woman continues to gaze at her form. "I don't know. I wasn't this big when I went to sleep." She grabs at the collar of her dress. "Hold on..." She pulls at it, the fabric straining until...

'SHRIIIP'

"There we go... No longer so tight up there." Kneeling down, she likewise grabs the hem of the dress, pulling until it too rips. "That's a lot better!" Standing back up, she turns around? "What do you think? Too trampy?" She poses, revealing the minor modifications to her garb. A notable tear goes from the collar of her dress down to around her breastbone, showing a small amount of her cleavage. The tear at the hem of her dress reaches up to just above her right kneecap, displaying red and black striped thigh-high socks. "You don't have to answer, but I'd like some kind of input. I'm thinking that if you like it, maybe those dream boys I saw will like it, too." She smiles. "After all, boys are boys, aren't they? Unless they're men, in which case they're big boys."

"...." Kairi just didn't know how to respond to this. Truthfully, when she started tearing up her dress, she almost wanted to look away from the crude actions. And then she started posing and asking for her input. As much as she wanted to turn and walk away while she can, she felt that she had to be polite, if she wanted to get this woman off her case.

"It...looks alright...?" It was all she could really say at the moment. However, there was one thing made the Princess curious. She mentioned these 'dream boys' that she saw. She didn't know why, but if she was just waking up now, if she had been in the Realm of Sleep...could she have really seen her friends there?

She had to ask, just to make sure, "If you don't mind me asking...who were those 'dream boys' that you saw? I...might know them."

"Oh, those two?" As she takes another look at Kairi, she begins to think back. "One seemed kinda derpy, to be honest. You know, goofball? Spiky brown hair, blue eyes, has a Keyblade? What was his name? Soma? Saiga? Something..." She itches the back of her head. "Seemed a bit skinny, too, but he's got that cute innocent look. You know the look, right? The kind you wanna hold onto as tightly as you can, up until the head pops off, that is."

"The other one, though?" The girl's eyes close. "Seemed like such a bad boy. Kinda gruff, a bit buff... The kinda guy you wanna date, but not marry. The silver hair... His own Keyblade... That touch of darkness..." Her eyes open as she slaps herself lighting in the face. "Sorry, kinda fixated on that stuff." Whispering to herself, she utters, "Get a grip, Lidia. You've entertaining a guest."

"Anywho, I kinda forgot their names. If I hear their names, I'll probably remember."

That was all Kairi needed to know. She didn't know this woman's intentions, but she knew exactly who she was talking about. The Princess had to scowl protectively at the thought of what this woman planned to do with her friends. Even if her antics were strange...she couldn't be too sure if she was a threat to Sora and Riku.

"I know them. Their names are Sora and Riku...and they're my friends." She couldn't help but stress on the word 'friends.' In the tone, she was clearly telling the woman to back off from them.

"Oh, they ARE! Well, that's one mighty coincidence, there." Lidia takes no note of Kairi's forceful comment. "Then again, maybe not so much. I mean, after all, most Keybladers want to protect the light." Her mirthful tone begins to go dour as her eyes begin to glow. "That stagnant, halting, oppressive light that stops people from being themselves. The light with all its rules, morals, regulations, all the while wanting to stamp out anything that doesn't agree with it." She scoffs. "Light, good, Order... Really are such stupid things, aren't they?" She moves around, any sense of innocence rapidly dwindling. "I mean, what's wrong with a little darkness? What's wrong with being evil, or spreading chaos?" She points at Kairi. "Let me tell you. NOTHING. Darkness, chaos, evil? They're as necessary as air or food. People crave it, that chance to escape. Most are just too scared to admit it."

It was as if she took a complete 180. First, this dark woman was acting so childish that it was just too off-putting. Now here she was, talking down about the Light and wanting to spread chaos and Darkness around the worlds. The way she spoke with such spite brought Kairi to tighten her grip on Destiny's Embrace. It was as if she was trying to stamp her out of it.

"I don't know who you are, and I don't care if you stand with the Darkness," she said, a little more force in her words. "Maybe you're right about it. Maybe Darkness is as necessary as Light. But if there's too much Darkness, it consumes people, changes them as much as you say the Light oppresses people. Light and Darkness...they can't exist without the other. There needs to be a balance, or the worlds will fall."

With that, she readied her Keyblade, prepared to fight if the need be. "If you're trying to spread too much Darkness in the worlds, then I won't allow it. And I'm not letting you near Sora or Riku, no matter what your intentions are with them!"

"It's kinda cute that you think you can keep them safe from me." Lidia lightly smirks at Kairi. "It won't work, but it's cute." She holds her hand out, her fingers wiggling. "Come on, sweetie... come on out..." Her hand clenches into a fist as her own weapon appears, the Anarchy Tiara. "There we are! Wasn't sure if you'd come out." Talking to her weapon, she moves her wrist, allowing herself to become once more used to the heft and feel of her Keyblade.

"And if you think you can stop me, Precious, I think you're in for a rude awakening."

Seeing the woman's own Keyblade took Kairi by surprise. With her talk about Keyblade wielders, she didn't expect her to wield one of her own. However, just like the dark woman, she could feel the Darkness within this Keyblade. It reminded her of the Keyblade of People's Hearts, the Keyblade that Ansem, Seeker of Darkness wielded while in Riku's body.

However, Kairi got her composure back quickly enough, looking with a scowl once more. She wasn't going to let this girl get away, not while she posed as a threat to her and her friends.

"Don't underestimate me. I'm not the same girl who always stood by waiting for her friends. I said I was going to fight, and I meant it!"

And with that, she charged right at Lidia. She wasn't going in for an attack, however; she just wanted to see what the woman could really do with her Keyblade.

"Why am I not surprised?" Lidia taps Anarchy Tiara against her open hand a few times, as if pondering what to do next. However, that ever mischievous smirk crosses her lips. Pointing the tip of her Keyblade at Kairi, her eyes glow. "Puff!" As soon as she utters it, a thick billowing swarm of smoke ushers out from the weapon's point, covering the area quickly.

The smoke brought Kairi to stop in her tracks. For one being of pure light, the darkness covering the area completely blocked her vision, and she began coughing. Looks like her adversary wasn't to be taken lightly if she could do something like this.

But the Princess of Heart wasn't about to give up. Issuing her Deck Commands, those that she learned during her training, she surrounded herself with a barrier of pure light, protecting her from the smoke, and from whatever attack Lidia would pull on her.

Now she just had to find her in the midst of this dark smoke.

"Well, well, well... Looks like Precious has a few tricks up her... Well, certainly not a sleeve, especially with that outfit." Lidia moves around the circumference of the smoky area, her eyes glowing. "Yeah, I can see you." Reaching down, she grabs a stone from the ground. Holding it in her open hand, she tosses it up and down. "And I'm pretty sure that the more I talk, the sooner you'll find me." Tapping the tip of her blade into the ground, a few dark puddles begin to emerge. "Maybe I'm front of you, maybe I'm behind." She tosses the stone towards the Princess of Heart, moving as quickly as she can, hoping that her pets would allow her the chance to see just how well Miss Goody-Good would do. "Come and get me!"

Kairi tried to focus on where the voice was, tried to pinpoint Lidia's exact location. Though it seemed like she found her, she could feel the familiar presence of Heartless appearing in the area, no doubt the work of the dark woman. She saw the stone coming for her and quickly ducked away from it; unfortunately, this allowed the Heartless to locate her and leap at her.

As usual, the Princess of Heart acted quickly. As a Shadow lashed its claws at her, a platform of light appeared at her feet, along her to jump away from the attack and leap into the air. Holding her Keyblade up, and with a call of "Light!", Faith's pillar of light burst from the ground, damaging the Shadow and other Heartless in range.

But she wasn't done there. With light gather in her hand, she held it out; similar to Riku's Dark Aura, her Pearl attack fired three blasts of light, homing at Lidia's possible location.

Startled at the sudden appearance of the pillar of light, Lidia leaps backwards with a yelp. She wasn't expecting that, nor did she expect the appearance of the three light spheres coming towards her. One grazes her shoulder, while another hits her square in the gut, and the final striking her in the face, knocking her far back, landing in a crumpled heap, groaning in pain and clutching her gut. Looking up, she sees that the smoke is dissipating. "Uh-oh..."

Kairi, too, saw the smoke dissipating around, as well as heard the sounds of her attacks hitting Lidia. Now that she had a hint to where she really was, she decided to give the woman a taste of her own medicine. First using Vanish, turning herself invisible while the smoke began to clear up, she then activated Circle Raid, her Keyblade thrown so that it circled around her. With this, she neared Lidia, attempting to strike her with her spinning Keyblade whilst she wouldn't be found.

As she was trying to pull herself away from the field of battle, Lidia continued to wince and groan in pain. How was she so weak? Didn't all her training mean that she'd be able to fight against people like Precious with ease? She trained for so long... and slept. Her eyes widen at this realization. She could have only been this week if she had slept for such a long time. "This isn't fair..." With Anarchy Tiara re-appearing in her open hand, she tries to sit up, using her weapon as a boost. However, she finds that she isn't able to. "THIS ISN'T FAIR!" Slamming the Keyblade into the ground, a spreading series of cracks appear in the ground, each one filled with dark essence.

"I'm supposed to be better than you. You're supposed to give up. Oh, why isn't this working!?" Crying a bit, she continues to try and crawl away.

As the Deck Commands' times were used up, Kairi watched as Lidia tried to crawl away. It was a pitiful sight, one that made the Princess stop in her attacks. While she did want to help, the dark girl was still an enemy, trying to spread darkness and eliminating the light. But even then, as she caught up to her, she offered a Potion, but with a stern look on her face.

"Darkness can't exist without light. Remember that."

Looking up at Kairi, Lidia is dumbfounded. "Well, aren't you going to finish it? Stamp out the problem, get rid of the bad stuff? I mean, isn't that what you wielders of Light are supposed to do?" Reaching a sheer rock wall, she sits against it. "Or is that too tough for you, Precious?" Taking a few deep breaths, she tries to pull herself up, but falls back down against the wall.

Kairi just shook her head. "You might think that...but it's just not me. You're an enemy, but that just means you have to be stopped." She turned away, ready to leave this world and the dark woman behind. But not without saying one last thing.

"Besides...Sora would've done the same..."

And with that, the Princess of Heart walked away, off to do the one thing she came here for.

Watching the Princess of Heart walk away, Lidia sits there, wincing as she continues to hold her gut. Tapping the tip of her Keyblade against the ground, she sees a Shadow emerge and scamper over to her. As it comes close, it slows down, before grabbing onto her gut, the creature melting into her. Her gasps of pain begin to reduce, slowly returning to normal breathing. She couldn't heal by normal means, only by absorbing dark energies, such as the life of a Shadow. "That won't happen again." With Kairi gone, she stands up. "Well, if I can't even beat Precious, that means I've got a lot of work ahead. All to reach those two..."

Pointing Anarchy Tiara towards an area to the side, a Dark Corridor opens up. "Next time, Precious... Next time." With that, she walks through.
