Man that bow was even more impressive than Jazz had originally thought. She wasn't even sure how he had managed to forge that but Jazz knew to talk to Greg if she ever needed a weapon herself. A rapier seemed like a good close range weapon as it would be easy to apply the advice she had given Audrey earlier. Audrey's reaction to the reaction made Jasmine smile. It was good to see the girl so happy after she had been in tears when she first arrived. It also made Jazz happy now that she knew for sure that it was possible for her to do good without having to kill anyone, something that she was worried about after escaping from Plasma. "Don't worry about it Audrey. We didn't really do it to be paid back. Can't really ignore a girl crying now can we Greg? Go and show that jerk that you are strong and take care of yourself okay?" Greg grinned broadly as he saw her so overjoyed at her success. Though he did wince as she accidentally fired an arrow she created, he was still glad that he hadn't overstepped her power capabilities. Speaking of the weapon and her powers... he was going to have to find that enchantress to teach the skills she said she had, to improve his work. But enough about that. He decided to answer her after Jasmine. "She's right. I wasn't going to let you go back out there until you could protect yourself, either. I know you're better than that, better than you were before. Just call in if you have any trouble at all, okay? Him, someone else, anything. If I can, I'll help out. If there's nothing else you need..." He took a deep breath. "I kind of need a break, and so do you. Jasmine, you can stay here if you want to, but I think it's best if I head out. Anyone you want me to keep an eye on?" ----- Audrey nodded to the two, giving a small smile. She really was grateful for their help; if they hadn't stepped in to help, she would have continued feeling sorry for herself, feeling like she couldn't do anything and just wait for Ignazio to come find her. Now she was sure she could handle herself; she could go out in the worlds and explore without any worry. "Yeah...I will," she first said to Jasmine, then turned to address Greg. At first, she was about to tell him about Ignazio, not to warn him, but to tell him that she didn't run from him; just from the town they were trapped in. However, she stopped herself. She didn't know why, but...it just didn't feel right to do so. If Ignazio found out, he'd think she was selling him out, even though she already did. Either way, she felt that she had to solve that issue on her own, when the time came. Right now, she didn't want to worry about it. So instead, Audrey gave a sigh and said, "Just...if you see Sorin Luca in the worlds...let him know that I'm okay and that you helped train me and gave me a weapon. I ran off before we could do that, so if he's worried about me...just tell him this so he doesn't have to anymore." With one last nod of thanks to the two, Audrey Crowe had walked off, first buying that quiver from the Moogle with what little munny she had before heading off to her ship. She was free to go anywhere now, hopefully without running into trouble. The girl thought of all the places she could go, what sort of fun she would have on these adventures. Halloween Town was definitely a must for her. But for other possible game worlds, perhaps one of the Tales worlds, or Nippon, or...or even the world of Baten Kaitos! She's always wanted to visit that one over the others, especially if it was after the first game with the world restored. But for now, she would relax after a long day of training. Her arms were still sore, she was exhausted, and she was hungry. After a quick snack on her ship, she would take a nap and then figure out what to do next. Even though she had a weapon now, she still needed to train with it, both on the bow and the rapier. Thankfully, the tips Jasmine gave her would help make things easier for her. Speaking of her weapon, she had the perfect name for it. With her association with dreams themselves, and with how her powers really could aid her in this, the name was obvious, but hopefully got the point across. The Dreamweaver. "I'll keep an eye out for him too." Jasmine said. If this Sorin guy really did care about Audrey then he would be glad to hear that she not only was okay but that she would be able to take care of herself. "I hope I can see you two later. Keep up the good work Audrey." With that Jasmine went off. While she originally she came here to do some private training she ended up helping a girl for many hours that Jazz wasn't really feeling like training anymore. Well it was probably better this way. She would head to her ship and head out before taking a bit of a nap. Even though she wasn't as tired as Audrey or Greg she was too tired to do any real training so might as well leave. The day did turn out a lot better than she originally thought. |

Greg waved goodbye to them, saying nothing as he also walked off. It wasn't out of a lack of respect. He just didn't trust himself to say the right words sometimes. Thankfully, he had gone an entire conversation without such an issue. An entire conversation without one misplaced vokabel? That was good. ... well, it was a start. In any case, that enchantress, Mistress Akemi (to use her own nomenclature), would be of great help to him. He would need to have it if he was going to work on his more elaborate designs, the ones that required the wiring of techno-magical elements and more personalized touches that could adapt to the user. For one, that "Project: Skjǫldr" he had in place. To align the matrices of his mana for the Prefect combat suits... ... no, focus yourself a bit more. He shook his head, letting himself keep to one magic system at a time. If he could weave them together, that would be a great boon, and would help his forging immensely. However, he would need to work on that. Before anything, he needed to sleep. However, he reminded himself to check on Audrey later, and perhaps to meet Naito in person. The former seemed more comfortable with her given name than her surname for address, and the latter would have to be met eventually, so better late earlier than later. "Maybe I can ask Señor Stark..." And with that, he was on his way. |
