The young woman looked down at herself as she appeared on the large clam shell, finding it difficult for her to find her way off. The changes brought about by this world were...disarming, in more ways than one.

Her clamshell bikini top was that of a multicam pattern, military style. It had her combat knife on one cup, so that was good at least, but the tail, silver, replacing her legs, that of a Japanese silver biddy... she wasn't really sure how she could move on this world, even if she had somewhat of a good idea why Akemi Jing the Spirit Weaver had picked it. It was always about looks, it seemed. Probably another reason was that she would have to leave Kira on board her ship for the duration.

...okay, so she had stared at her bosses more than once. That wasn't exactly a crime. But still, it was hard to operate effectively here.

Azumi Ian just really hoped that her companions had a better idea on how to actually move in this ocean. Having a completely different lower half was somewhat distracting, let alone her complete lack of armor.

Though the Spirit Weaver admittedly picked this world for the looks, she was mostly curious about the underwater world, wanted to see what it was like. The fact that it transformed them on arrival was somewhat of a surprise, but with how the worlds have worked so far, she figured this would happen. Plus, it wasn't like she minded too much. She rather liked her dark blue clam shell top and her blue tail. It seemed to be of a mandarinfish, though with silver lines instead of the typical orange.

That said, unlike their priestess, Akemi had a better idea how to move around this place. With a push of her tail, she was off the clam shell with ease. She swam around a little more to get a better hold of this form, stretching herself out (and deliberately pushing her chest out) once she was done.

"Ah...I think I'm going to like it here." She then turned to Azumi, having to give a small smirk. "And I do have to say that it's good to see you out of your armor, Miss Ian."

"Why did you choose this place again Akemi?" Rikka asked. Like the other two she had changed. For one thing her wings and horns were gone. The lack of horns didn't really cause much difference to Rikka but after having her wings suddenly being gone was rather different. Her legs were also gone and in the form of a queen angelfish tail. She also was only wearing a clamshell bra though white.

She had a little luck with trying to move but she was not as good as Akemi. Rikka had to roll her eyes at Akemi as well. "As much as I hate to agree with her, I do in this case. You do look good Azumi." She said. Rikka did notice her attendants staring though Rikka didn't mind it much at all. She was good looking so there was no surprise.

Oh great, she was being flirted with by the martial artist. Again, and directly about her looks this time.

Azumi rolled her eyes to the comment from Akemi. Of course she would do that. She was all about looks as far as the soldier could tell, though she knew better than to be even remotely attracted to her as a result of that. After spending time with Selina Kyle, people who outright flaunted their looks didn't do much for her. Now others who didn't, but she still found attractive, or only had that as a more minor part of their personality in respect to other things... that was another story.

Following Rikka's lead, she shook her lower half to act as a fin should, swimming closer at a level of expertise that was lower than Akemi, but higher than Rikka now that she had a relative grasp on how it should be done from two examples given. She admitted, looking at Rikka again... well, she had helped her dress and undress as a part of her role as her attendant, yes, but she still couldn't help but stare at her body. Even if it wasn't at quite the level of Akemi, it wasn't forced in her face like Akemi's "stretching" was, a tactic she, again, had seen from others. And that wasn't even talking about her friend Dinah's "sparring" tactics with Oliver back at the League. To her, the attractiveness was as much from personality as from looks, and pushing too hard on the personality was something of a turn off to her.

... and now she was happy that neither of them had telepathy. She didn't want them to know what that whole train of thought was, nor why she was having it.

The only nonmagical woman among them blushed somewhat at Rikka's compliment, unlike Akemi's. "Thank you, ma'am," she muttered under her breath. She looked to the two of them, crossing her arms over her abs. "So, considering we don't really know how to get around effectively here, where to? And how?"

Of course, Akemi wasn't going to keep up with the flirting. She only wanted to see what Azumi's reaction would be, and judging by the roll of her eyes, she could already tell what her thoughts on the matter were. Her reaction to Rikka's compliment, on the other hand, had more merit, which was a good thing in her mind. Even if she didn't have any form of telepathy, she was very good at reading people by expression alone.

That said, she dropped it for the time being. While getting the two closer together was a priority in mind, the time for matchmaking would come a little bit later. First, she answered Rikka's question as to why they were here, "Besides curiosity, I figured we'd try to find a few more followers. If not, we could try to find something that could aid us." On the issue of moving around, the spirit woman had to smirk a little. "Oh, that's quite simple. I could show you two, if you would like."

As she began to demonstrate, for some odd reason, she felt an urge to...sing, "Give a little kick of the fin, and you'll be able to swim--" She stopped herself quickly as she became self-aware. Not only that, but now that she unconsciously issued her Siren spell, some nearby fish began to swim around her. "How odd..."

Rikka gave Azumi a small smile as she caught her staring again. She honestly didn't mind all that much and plus she did like that Azumi was paying her more attention over Akemi despite her attempts to actually flirt. Rikka would flirt herself but later, right now she wanted to actually figure out how to move underwater. She watched the other two's examples and kicked out her fin. It took a little practice but Rikka was starting to move around now so they three of them weren't going to be confined to this one area.

"Oh great this world gives a compulsion to sing. Though I'm not that surprised considering that in the game they were all singing for some reason." Rikka muttered as she heard Akemi singing a bit.

"It's probably a part of this world like the changes so just be careful about that." Rikka said speaking up.

Luckily, Akemi was somewhat mistaken. The world was not one of singing, but rather the situation itself had made her want to sing a bit more, as Azumi herself realized. As she spoke, she felt no urge to sing whatsoever, as she didn't listen to much music anyway. And yes, that included that one time with a certain ally of hers.

The other time was another story entirely. And yes, she had gotten it taped by the mystical elements that those people dealt with. For safekeeping, you see.

"Admittedly, she isn't too terrible. I've definitely heard more tone deaf in my life."

However, she did as instructed, and began flapping her apparent tail, mentally using the same muscles she normally used for her legs. She did start moving forward... but as she tried to stop herself, she slammed the tail forward under her, flipping backwards in the process, but ending up rightside up. Now then, turning would be another issue entirely, but she...sort of had the gist of it down.

She did, however, end up very close to the two women, her arms crossed over her abs. "So, where to? Any other suggestions on how we can turn, or move up or down? Not to mention turning radially to right ourselves."

Akemi waved off the comments to her singing, as well as the school of fish swimming around her. "I doubt it's the world, else you two would be singing your hearts out with me. I admit that singing and dancing is a personal hobby of mine, so I'm sure it was just an urge."

That said, when it came to Azumi's question, the Spirit Weaver couldn't help but sigh. "I suppose it's not as easy for you two as it is for me." She decided to show off a little more on that note, swimming around with sharp serves and even a few flips. For her, it was almost as fluid as her martial arts, which was likely the reason why she had a better handle of this than her cohorts.

However, as she stopped in her swimming, an idea sprouted in her mind. She turned back to the two and smiled. "Though if the two of you would like, I could teach you two a little, before we head into the world proper. Separately, so it'd be easier." From the sound of her tone, teaching them how to swim wasn't the only thing she had in mind for them.

"Let's start with you first, Azumi, since you seem to be having more trouble."

Rikka was starting to get a bit better with some of Akemi's instructions. It was good that she could actually start to get around now. Not to mention how Rikka was sure that Akemi had something else in mind when she was talking about helping them learn to swim. It would probably end up being something that would annoy the angel later. She always seemed to be able to do that rather easily.

"Since you are helping Azumi I will practice myself since I seem to have a better understanding of how to swim." Rikka said as she was making her way around the two. "And Akemi please stick to actually helping her with her swimming. I don't think Azumi would want any kind of other advice that you might have for her."

Azumi felt her body move for her. Though she was going to go along with it anyway, a least it was evidence that the contract did affect her. She could resist, briefly, but it would be very painful, most likely. Still, she helped it along, flapping her tail up and down as she went ahead.

She knew full well that Akemi would likely ignore Rikka's request. It was just how she was. Still, she called back to the angel behind her. "Maybe you can think about your religion a bit more, and anything else you feel appropriate. Just some thoughts from your attendant."

That said, she reached Akemi, letting her lead the way. If she had ideas on how to train, she could bring them somewhere private if she so desired.

"Yes yes, I'll be teaching her what I can," Akemi said, brushing off Rikka's concerns. Of course, they knew her too well to assume that giving them swimming lessons was all she had in mind. That wasn't going to stop her from what she; and the Shade Keeper, for that matter; had in mind, however.

She led Azumi to a relatively open area away from Rikka, glad to see that the contract acted on command. It was going to prove useful with what she had in mind. First, she began to demonstrate how to turn around, moving slowly so she would better mimic her actions. As she let the soldier do so, she struck up a conversation.

"So tell me, Miss Ian...what exactly do you think of Rikka?" she asked, unable to hide a sly smile. "I know we've spent quite a while in that computer world, but I don't think we've touched on that yet. You have to be following through with this for a reason, after all."

Rikka huffed as she swam off, leaving Azumi and Akemi alone together. It was likely that Akemi was not going to listen to her but she at least tried. Hopefully Azumi could ignore whatever Akemi was saying. At least now Rikka would have a bit of a moment to herself and just think.

Despite all the traveling she had been doing, Rikka still has had no sign of Yuki yet other than Akemi. It made Rikka very nervous. With the changes that had happened to her and being put into such a dangerous place Rikka wanted desperately for Yuki to be alright. At least they were all keeping an eye out for her and Rikka did trust Akemi and Azumi to keep Yuki safe if they found her. The time they spent training really impressed Rikka with their skills. She was still lagging behind but that was due to a lack of experience.

Out of the corner of her eye Rikka watched her two companions. She could admit to herself they were attractive. She did like Azumi more but that was more due to her personality. Despite the contact she really did seem to be trying to work with her which Rikka appreciated. It was nice having her around.

Azumi followed the instructions well. She had difficulties with learning at times, but it was not due to a speed of retention, rather differing experiences. Her time in the ODSTs had taught her how to adapt well to changing circumstances, and this was just another of those... or so she was convincing herself.

The young woman twisted and turned in a swoop, a bit uneven, but corrected herself well, turning back upwards. To her, it was relatively easy once she got the hang of it. Kind of like riding a bike.

Underwater.

Managing to keep focused, she was caught off guard by Akemi's question, upside-down compared to the martial artist and staying there for a moment as she tried to collect herself.

"Well... She is very good as a leader, at least as a start. She hasn't gotten some of the finer points down, like how you can't take authority, but she's learning. ...I'm assuming that's not the question you wanted to ask, and I'm probably right in thinking that."

Akemi gave a light chuckle to Azumi's comment, swimming a little closer to her. "You know me very well. Our time in that little simulation seems to have paid off on that note." As she continued speaking to her, she felt the Fox Spirit, the Shade Keeper, in the back of her mind beginning to work up her magic. It was one of the perks that they had to this connection: the host didn't have access to the entirety of her Spirit Magic, but the Shade Keeper had all of it, and more. If the two agreed on something, then she would allow her access to some of the stronger spells, with her guidance. And at the moment, they were in agreement to this little plan.

"I know I've told you this before, but quite frankly, I think there's more to it beyond leadership. When Rikka spoke of you, she seemed to have a certain...admiration about you, hence why she chose you as her personal right-hand. And from what I've seen of the two of you so far, I can tell that you're quite attracted to each other; personally, that's not how I swing, but I am not one to judge."

She then leaned her chin against her hand, pretending to be leaning against something as she gave the soldier a small smirk. "So, Miss Ian...tell me what you really feel about Rikka." By the tone, this wasn't a simple question. It was a command.

Rikka huffed as she kept practicing. Really what was taking those two so long? It was obvious that Akemi was talking about something with Azumi despite how Azumi probably was trying to ignore her. What that was, Rikka was not sure but it was probably going to annoy her in the future. Akemi despite all the annoyance that Rikka could feel toward her, was still a good ally and Rikka was really reluctant to admit it but also considered her a bit of a friend. Sure the whole thing had started because Akemi had seen Rikka has a way to raise her own status but Rikka did appreciate what she did.

"Are you two actually practicing or gossiping?" Rikka shouted at the two, finally getting bored of just waiting by herself.

Continuing her swimming for practice, Azumi was slightly insulted by the insinuation that she would gossip. However, her mouth was moving for the command, her vocal chords operating that way as well, to her humiliation. Unaware of the magic being placed on her due to her own lack of any mana whatsoever, she spoke clearly, though with a heavy blush.

"Rikka is extremely attractive. One of the top people I've seen, definitely in the top three I've seen in the worlds. I like her attitude a lot, and I admit I do stare at her a lot, but how can I not? I wouldn't be surprised if she were in with a popular crowd at her school." Eventually, however, she bowed her head a bit in shame at having revealed so much of her true feelings, and hoping she was done with training for now. She liked the contract for some things, the security it gave, but sometimes they could really show their authority in ways that made her feel awkward.

Not that she expected it any other way.

Akemi smiled further as Azumi admitted her true feelings on command. This was all she needed for the Shade Keeper to act. As the priestess hung her head, she swam closer to her, placing one hand on her shoulder and the other under her chin, lifting her head back up.

"Now, Miss Ian, there's no need to be ashamed," she said reassuringly. "I'm glad that you told me; it would do you no good to keep it bottled in for the rest of your life." She then placed the hand that was on her shoulder onto her forehead. "However...I do think that it would do you much better if you stop acting so uptight about it. You should let loose once in a while..."

Her Spirit Magic began to act on those words, along with her touch. Within Azumi's mind, "weaves" began to work their way, wrapping tightly around certain areas to "influence" her. Akemi, as well as the Shade Keeper, kept their focus, taking careful measures for these weaves to work. It wouldn't do them any good if Ian suddenly received brain damage from improper use of this. "You could also be a bit more receptive to her advances. I'm sure how she feels about you is no different from how you feel about her; the two of you should be able to work this out."

The spirit woman backed away then, pausing to let the weaves finish themselves for a moment. Then, she spoke again, "Now go and fetch Rikka for me. I have more to discuss with her."

Unaware of the magic being put upon her, Azumi sighed as her muscles relaxed just a bit. "... alright, I'll try. I just don't know how good of an idea it is to have a crush on your commanding officer... which I hope you don't tell her I said, but know you will, so why do I even bother?" She recognized the last command, saluting as per habit. "Yes, ma'am."

She swam toward Rikka afterwards, unaware of both the magical influences upon her and the fact that said influences would be temporary and slow acting. They were built to do their job, then be untraceable afterwards by way of erasing their presence and unweaving themselves. As such, she would develop as Akemi wanted, but not make it too difficult if it went beyond her control after it was all said and done.

Showing her new skill with this kind of swimming, she approached the angel. "I do hope I didn't keep you too long. She wanted to ask me some things and... she wants to train with you next. I can wait, really. I've gone on stakeouts much longer than a few minutes. Unless there's something you want me to work on or do while you train and talk with her yourself."

"Alright. Hopefully this won't take long though. You can do whatever you want while I am dealing with Akemi." Rikka replied as she swam back toward Akemi. Since she had been practicing on her own, she was able to get back to Akemi fairly easily. She gave her a bit of a look as she stopped right in front of Akemi.

"I hope you weren't trying anything while you were talking with Azumi." Rikka said as she crossed her arms. "So what do you wish to speak about that you didn't want Azumi to hear?" Rikka asked.

As Rikka arrived to the scene, Akemi first waved off her first statement. "Nothing to worry about. I gave her tips on how to swim and the like." Now, she knew the angelic woman would be more difficult to approach, as Azumi at least had the contract for her to exploit. She would have to be more forceful on the matter, but hopefully without giving herself away too soon.

So she decided to take the blunt approach, crossing her arms. "Though we have talked about other things, namely her...feelings with you. So I want to know, Rikka: what exactly do you feel towards Azumi? Was there any specific reason why you wanted her as a personal assistant? I doubt it was mere coincidence..."

Waiting for the two women, Azumi absently practiced some maneuvers of her own. Not all of them had to be about pure swimming, but she instead decided to focus on her knife work.

Drawing her combat ready blade from its sheath, she tossed it into the water, watching it float up slightly... and caught it. Okay, so that was the resistance she was dealing with. Time for some exercises.

As the young woman went through the motions, she let her mind rest. She went about tossing the knife from one hand to the other, slashing, stabbing, a few thrusts, more. Flowing from one move to the next, sneaking in chops and punches with the other hand, practicing grips for restraining maneuvers.

Her thoughts drifted as she trained, thinking not of Rikka or Akemi, not of any of this, but of her father. She was surprised at how okay he was about her going into a religion. Of course, she wasn't really a believer beyond the pragmatic existence of her spiritual partners, but it was close enough. She would have to talk with him about some things, including catching up on the goings on with the worlds. After she finished getting her data from Kira, got information on this "Erde-Tyrene" she mentioned once, she could get to work on other things she would like to do. One of these was one that Batman wouldn't be very happy with.

Then again, dealing with Sandra Wu-San tended to be less than stellar.

Rikka rolled her eyes a bit when Akemi said that they only talked about swimming. That was till she brought up Azumi's feelings. It took a few seconds before Rikka brought her hand up to her forehead and looked like she had a headache. "Oh great you are trying to play matchmaker." Rikka said moaning in annoyance. She knew that this was something that Akemi was not going to let go so she might as well answer.

"I'm going to stop you here. First of all yes I do admit that I find her attractive and that is part of the reason why I chose her but I also valued her skills and strength and felt that she would be far more suited to the role as opposed to the others that I had met." Rikka answered as she crossed her arms under her chest.

Akemi sighed at the response. As she expected, this wasn't going to be as easy as it was with Azumi. But no matter; she and the Shade Keeper were prepared for this one.

"Rikka...I know we decided that you were the leader, but you really ought to think this through." She then same to her side, almost wrapping an arm around her shoulders. However, her hand was on the back of the angelic woman's head, her magic once more beginning to work its way into her. "Think about it this way. You're the one in command, and as we've seen with Azumi, she rather likes that. You should probably use that to your advantage; the contract is there for a reason. You could use it to get closer to her.

"Speaking of which, you should really learn to not be so uptight with your leadership. You can be a bit more forward with her, let her know your thoughts and encourage her. I'm sure she would appreciate it, and the two of you would be better off for it."

With that, she backed away, letting the magic weaves work their way into her mind to influence these points like they did with Azumi. "Now, we should probably regroup and go over what to do here, now that we all know how to navigate this world."

Rikka wasn't as vulnerable to Akemi's magic as Azumi was but since she had no idea what her companion was doing, Rikka was sill rather affected by it. "I will...think about it." Rikka responded. Akemi did have a point and just treating Azumi as a servant would never end well and though Rikka didn't want to, she might still be doing it by accident. She should try to be more forward with Azumi and treat her a bit more like an equal.

"Yes I think we spent enough time just swimming around. Azumi we are finished so now let us talk about what we are actually going to be doing!" Rikka said and then called out to the third member of her group.

Thinking about what Akemi had said as well as the spell affecting her. "Thank you for waiting for us."

Although she was unaware of their interactions, Azumi had decided to be aware of what they likely were between her employers. She did kind of enjoy a bit of the dominant attitude that Rikka had, likely gleaned from some time at home, but still nodded as the two women approached.

"Its no trouble. I was told to wait, so I waited. I'm good at that. Good work with training, miss. It took me longer, I'm sure."

Done with the compliments, the young woman looked to the Spirit Weaver. "Where do you have in mind to go, then?"
