Spencer laid on the grass surrounding the entrance to Disney Castle's Gummi workshop, dozing. If one looked close, it sure seemed like he needed it, too. If someone was able to see past his too-long hair, they would see dark circles surrounded his eyes, like bruises. He snored loudly, one hand behind his head, and the other holding an empty bottle, and his staff lay on the ground next to him. The world was boring and saccharine, sure, but at least it was relaxing. The queen (Mickey didn't seem around) had let him look at the library, but he didn't find anything that could be useful to him. So after getting a headache for some reason, he'd just laid down outside and fallen asleep. He still worried about a lot of things, even while asleep. Having enough food for tomorrow was one. In a close second came finding a way to not go slowly insane. There was other things, too. Like that girl. He'd seen Sorin, but hadn't seen him since, or that girl. He hoped that freak hadn't gotten her, but knowing his luck... he snorted in his sleep. Quit thinking like that. At least he managed to catch some z's for once. |

(Takes place after "Savage Sides" in the Endless Multiverse and "Spirits Whisper" in Gregzilla's Assorted Writings, in Art and Writing.) Arriving in the white castle initially almost blinded her with its bright colors. After her dealings on an island with dangerous people and equally dangerous situations, she wasn't really used to going back to the (mostly) happy cheerfulness of Kingdom Hearts' Disney worlds. It was almost as unsettling as winding up in Twilight Town after escaping Silent Hill. There was a reason Audrey decided to drop down into this world, though. After the stressful venture through Yamatai, she needed a place to clear her mind, try to forget the violence that occurred there. She also thought to practice a little with her bow, but for now, she just wanted to relax, not have to deal with any fighting for the time being. So the young woman wandered about, her new cape flowing behind her as she walked. She really did like the new outfit that Greg made for her; even with the armor, it was comfortable to wear and move around in. Not only that, but she felt more secure, both with the 'armorweave' thing it was crafted from and the enchantments that Akemi added so it wouldn't get ruined like her old clothes did. She felt like a new person walking around like this, from a scared little girl to a prepared woman, ready to fight if she needed to. As she made her way outside, she stopped for a moment, taking in the fresh air. Instead of the stench of blood and rotting corpses, she inhaled the scent of fresh green grass and flowers. Instead of unsettling cold winds from the unsuspecting storms, she felt a cool, calming breeze flowing by. As frightening as that unfortunate journey was, it was also a huge eye-opener for her. She'd been hiding away for so long that she forgot what it meant to live and experience these things. She'd spent so long hiding herself in fear and self-loathing, feeling that she wasn't good enough to take care of herself. But that was all over now. Instead of feeling weak and helpless, she accepted that she was a lot braver and stronger than she thought she was. Instead of thinking herself pathetic, she accepted who she was: a dreamer who wanted to be a child forever, lost in her own little world. And like a child, she began to dance in the grass, spreading her arms out and spinning about. She didn't care if anyone was looking at her strangely, or if she was going to run into something she'd regret. She was too lost in thought, in her imaginary land to notice her surroundings anymore. She was free... ...At least until she tripped over the napping mage, making her fall unceremoniously into the grass. "Oof!" Edited by Adri, May 17 2014, 01:29 AM.

(Set after "Spread Your Wings" in Neverland and a upcoming thread in Olympus Colosseum.) "Woah, talk about a mood shift..." After spending time underground, in the dark and gloomy domains of Hades, it felt so weird to be in such a colorful place. Still, he was glad. No Heartless to whack or big monsters to avoid being turn into lunch, some off-time was always welcome. He was still feeling a bit disappointed about his title of "Hero-to-Be" still being just that, but something about this place made him stay at ease. However Skoll, his spirit companion, didn't share the same feelings. As a creature of shadow, the radiant aura of Disney Castle just put him in a crankier mood than usual... "Will you calm down a bit? This place is completely harmless." Haru commented, his arms crossed behind his head in typical anime-esque hero fashion. "If we are gonna continue doing this, you gotta get used to a bit of Light, just how I gotta get used to some of your darkness stench. It's one of those Yin-Yang situations." Skoll just huffed as he turned his face away of him while still walking. "Look, just don't cause more trouble. We still gotta find that supply room." Said the red-haired boy followed by a sigh. Not a few seconds after arriving the the world, skoll had already started with his mischievous way, eventually messing with one of the living broom assitances and destroying its bucket of wood. And so Haru was given the mighty quest...of get another one from the supply room, problem was that those brooms weren't much of the chatty-type...at all. The young man found himself at the garden which just caused a groan, "Aww, I'm totally lost here. Well, at least the view is nice." He mentioned as he looked at the huge shrubbery structures. Suddenly, a nosie caught his attention. Something was happening real close. Taking a look he noticed a pair of familiar sights. "What the...wait, Audrey? Is that you?" Spencer gasped as the girl tripped over his stomach, and immediately whirled up into a standing position. He grabbed his staff and pointed it at her, the metal crackling and sparking with mystic energy. It stopped as soon as he saw that she was harmless, and not someone trying to attack him. The mage rubbed the bridge of his nose, muttering. "Can't a guy get some decent rest around here...? What the hell, lady?" But as he got a better look at her, he realized the girl seemed familiar. He reached into a pocket and pulled out his sketchbook. Then he dropped it. Grumbling, he picked it back up, and flipped through the pages until he reached the right one. Then he grabbed Audrey and pulled her back to her feet before shoving the drawing he'd made from memory after seeing that freak's photograph in her face. "This is you, yeah?" |

For a moment, Audrey groaned after hitting the ground so, sitting up and shaking her head. As she was about to see what she tripped over, she instead saw a staff pointed at her with magic crackling. If this had been any time before, she would have panicked and tried to hide. But in this case, she stared down at the mage even from her position, ready to draw the Dreamweaver in case he tried to attack. Thankfully, it wouldn't come to that. Unfortunately, as the mage backed down, he then decided to be rude, which she decided to respond back equally. "Geez, sor-ry, it was an ac-ci-dent. You ever look that word up in a dictionary?" she huffed, crossing her arms. "Besides, how was I supposed to know you were napping here like a passed out hobo?" Of course, she wouldn't get that answer, as the guy decided to fumble with a sketchbook for some reason. Rolling her eyes, the girl was about to get up and walk away, when she heard a familiar voice nearby. She looked over and saw the familiar hero-in-training, Haru Camdyn, and immediately her mood brightened back up, waving at him like an enthusiastic child. "Hi, Haru!" she greeted happily. "Don't ask what happened; dealing with a jerk right now." It was then that she noticed another shape beside the young man, something she hadn't seen before. However, with the development of her powers, and seeing that this was in the shape of a wolf, she guessed that this was the Dark Wind thing from before. Before she could bring attention to that, all of a sudden she was pulled back to her feet by the mage and had a drawing shoved right in her face. At first, she was going to yell and argue some more, but when she saw the exact drawing, she froze. Normally, she'd be freaked out at the almost perfect sketch of her, thinking this guy to be a possible stalker. But then...she remembered the photo that Greg showed her, remembered him telling her that Ignazio had it. From what she remembered, the sketch before her looked exactly like that photo, with her uncertainty and even the bruise on her cheek. "...did 'he' ask about me?" she asked quietly, figuring the guy would know who she was talking about. |

"What the hell, dude?" Haru exclaimed towards Spencer's sudden move. "Do you always shove creepy drawings of people right on their faces!?" He was quick to recognize him as the same magician guy that he met back on Deep Jungle, a long time ago. He also remembered about the drawing, how he got the reference from a mysterious creepy guy looking for Audrey. "I'll guess that weird stalked hasn't given up yet." Haru commented, "Good. Haven't even met him and already is giving me the creeps." The red-haired boy noticed the change in Audrey's expression, and decided to just change the topic even if for a while. "But enough on that. It's been a while since I saw you Audrey. What's with the new outfit?" Skoll moved closer to the girl with a curious look. Drawn to the increase of magic he could sense in her. Spencer was concentrating on the girl, but he caught Haru out of the corner of his eye. The hero in training went mostly ignored, though he could feel that weird entity he had when he first met him around here. He sighed, and put the book back in his pocket. Even on an off day like this, he could tell when he came on a little too strong. "Yeah, he wanted me to find you." Realizing the bad implications of what he said, he quickly added, "Not that I would hand you over to some guy who practically yells 'I'M ON EVERY NEIGHBORHOOD WATCH LIST'. I want to help keep you from 'im, I if can. You got magic, I bet. I can help with that." |

It was a good thing Spencer added that last bit, as Audrey was about to draw her bowsword on instinct again. From the sounds of things, it seemed like this was the guy who warned Sorin and Haru about Ignazio before. She was still getting used to the idea of people going out of their way to help her, but the fact that this mage was doing so before even meeting her was almost surprising. Even though he came off as a total grump, she could tell then that he had nothing but good intentions. "...thanks for letting me know," she said after a pause. "I know you wanna help, but I need to figure things out with Ignazio on my own. I know what he's been doing; I just need to confront him for myself." With that, the dream-wielder turned to Haru with a smile. "Oh, this?" She showed off her new garments for a moment. "This guy named Greg made it for me. My other clothes got completely ruined, what with all the fire and swimming in blood. Long story." Despite the unfortunate situation, she seemed quite nonchalant about it. The other thing Haru would have taken notice of was how her voice sounded deeper than the last time they've met, along with a hint of a rasp that indicated some sort of damage. Just as she was about to ask how the hero-to-be was doing, her attention was once again brought to the wolf-like entity that now came up to her. "Oh, hello there," she greeted with a smile, extending her hand to pet it. To Spencer, it looked like she was talking and waving at thin air, but Haru would realize that she could now see Skoll. "You must be the Dark Wind, right?" |

Haru was taken back in surprise when Audrey suddenly started to pet the spirit wolf. Not only because Skoll was actually letting himself be pet by her, but also by the fact she was actually able to see him!! "Wait...Y-you actually can see him now?!" Haru gasped, "That's...that's awesome!" The Dark Wind just rolled his eyes before turning back to face Audrey and start circling around her, aniffing her magical aura. Haru then mentioned, "Yeah. He also goes by Skoll now. Named him myself. He is starting to get used by it, at least." The red-haired boy grinned as he continued, "That's just great. New clothes, new powers, new drive. I'm so happy you're getting better Audrey" He said in complete honesty, a bit unsure about the voice part, but decided not to dwell on it that much. "Though...why are you two doing in here, anyways?" |

"Hey, that's not what I..." But it was too late for the sleepy magician. Audrey had already moved on to something else, seemingly talking to thin air. Of course, Spencer knew she wasn't (too) crazy, and he'd felt something around Haru the last time they had met. He hadn't anticipated that Audrey would be able to talk to spirits, though. He walked up next to her, and that feeling increased. The one he always got when around strong sources of magic. A bit of buzzing in the ear, a tingling in the spine, the hairs on his neck standing up. Like being around lots of static electricity. He looked in the general direction where Audrey was, at "Skoll". He couldn't even come close to seeing it like she could, but he could definitely feel it. At least it didn't feel like a demon, not the kind from his side of the fence, at least. But there wasn't any time for this. "Yeah, great, wolf ghost. Whatever. Look..." He maneuvered himself back into Audrey's line of sight. "I figured you gotta take that freak on yourself, but I can, uh, feel that you're not ready yet, okay?" Of course, this was an absolute lie. He might've been able to feel magical energy, and she sure had the spark, but he couldn't tell at a glance how good a person was with that magic. "I know magic, girl." To demonstrate, he held up a palm and a flame leaped up inside of it. Cupping his hand, he put it together tightly with the other one, and then released them a moment later. Ice crystals fell out, and the flame was gone. "You wanna really fight back against that guy, you're gonna need my help to get your magic under complete control." |

"Skoll, huh?" Audrey said, giggling as Skoll started sniffing her. "Not what I'd expect, but that's a cool name." Before she could continue her friendly chatter with Haru, Spencer once again stepped into her line of view and demonstrated his magical ability. She wasn't too surprised by the spells he used, what with how he threatened her with the staff not five minutes ago. Not only that, but fire and ice were pretty basic spells. What did bring her attention was that he was willing to help her with her own magic ability, something she'd recently thought to look into among her other training. While she was grateful for the opportunity, even if she'd just met this guy, there was one thing she wanted to get straight before she could accept. "Listen," she began with a sigh, "I appreciate the help, but you got it all wrong. I'm gonna confront Ignazio when I find him, but I don't wanna fight him. I just wanna talk to him, try to understand why he's doing these things. But if it comes down to it..." She trailed off, shaking her head. Despite the fact that she knew that 'man' wasn't who she thought he was, her tone showed that there was still a part of her that still wanted to believe, still wanted to be with him... "I'll accept whatever help you give me. I just want you to know that I'm not doing this for him. I'm doing this because I want to be better, to prove him...and myself wrong." "Do you come off as that persistent with all the girls you meet, or is this a special occasion?" Haru walked towards Spencer. "Look, I get you're worried and all, and trust me I am too. But I don't think you can change her mind any beyond what you just said." He said followed by a sigh. Turning towards Audrey, he then said, "Though, I'd think training some of your magic may be a good idea. I'm mostly the "Go attack directly" kind of guy, but I've seen your stuff in action against that giant dragon thing and with some practice you could become even better at it." He then showed a big smile as he stretched his arms while exclaimed, "But why turn this whole meeting into a giant downer? We are in the Sorta-Happiest Place on Earth...well, technically not Earth, but...um..oh, you get what I mean." Edited by StarMech, May 28 2014, 11:13 PM.

Well, that wasn't exactly the response Spencer was expecting. "Well... um... huh. I mean, that's fine. It's probably better, actually." He rubbed the back of his head sheepishly, acting less forceful than before. "I guess I just wasn't expecting it. These things usually end in a big fight, y'know?" He furrowed his brow, though, looking serious again. "But I don't think he's the kind of guy to just back down after a good talk. Unfortunately. So being prepared's a good idea. You'll want to learn to protect your mind, at least. He tried to read mine, so he's probably done the same to you before." He went from looking concerned to curious. "What kind of magic can you do? I need to learn more about it before I can help." |

Audrey blinked when the mage started acting embarrassed, after he'd been pushy with her. It was almost kind of funny, and also somewhat changed her first impression of him so far (not like she was any better). Back on the talk about Ignazio, however, she just nodded when he warned her. If this had been any time before, she would have defended him, try to find reason and an excuse for why she was more to blame. But, even though there was still that small part of her in there, there was no excuse for what he'd been doing since leaving the town. "I know. I don't wanna fight him, but that doesn't mean it won't come down to it. He's never hurt me before...not physically, anyway..." She looked down, unable to keep herself from thinking back to the times they argued, to when he verbally attacked her weaknesses and destroyed any belongings she grew attached to. "And I know about his powers. Not only the mind-reading, but...I've seen what he did to a favorite character of mine..." However, rather than dwell on this, she perked up as Haru tried to brighten the mood, giving a smile of her own. "But Haru's right. I don't wanna think about him right now, but I'll take up on your offer if you can help me." With that, she went on to explain her powers; while doing so, she couldn't help but start frolicking about once more, spreading her arms, "Well, to put it short, I have the most awesome power of imagination!" As she exclaimed that, the pink mist of her magic appeared around her arms. It was gone after a few seconds, though, the girl stopping in her tracks and looking sheepish. "...though I'm only starting to get the hang of it. I can enter people's dreams when they're sleeping, and I've been told I can do stuff there, though I haven't tried it yet. When I'm awake, though, I can make things if I put my mind to it. Right now, all I can make are these." She drew her bow, pulling back the string and, with a bit of focus, conjured up the magic arrow. She let it disappear afterwards, putting her weapon away. "Oh, and I can talk to spirits, as you saw there. That's only recently happened, though." It was then that she realized that she was still explaining this to a complete stranger. "Oh, by the way, my name's Audrey Crowe, though you probably already knew that. And I guess you and Haru already met before, from what I understand." |

"Yup, we met some time ago on a huge jungle." Haru explained. "But wait, you can hop into dreams now? That sounds awesome...depending on the dream. Other times must be really awkward." "Though I don't know for sure how exactly do you train Imagination. I guess I'm doing something similar by thinking on new shapes and moves; My guess is for you to try the same. Have you tried anything besides an arrow?" |

"Imagination...?" Spencer started to ask, though he was a bit distracted by Audrey's... frolicking. But his interest was piqued when she drew her bow, creating an arrow out of pink energy. "Dreams and constructs, huh? Mr. I-Wanna-Be-The-Guy over there is right, you could probably make other things. I mean, it's all imagination, right? Just try making something else. Trust me, I read lots of Green Lantern, I know how this works. Spencer, by the way. My name, I mean. And yeah, I've met him. We're not exactly buddies or anything, though." However, he had to rub his temples at Audrey's continued antics. "Also? Rule one: no frolicking. Wizards don't frolic, they're way too impressive for that." He paused, briefly. "Okay, that's not rule one. That's rule, like, five. Rule one's way more important than that." He grew more serious. "If you want me to help you out, you gotta follow rule one of magic: no killing with it. Got it? You got a gift, and you don't kill people with gifts." Edited by DoctorMcCool, May 29 2014, 10:35 PM.

"Well, I've always had that power, from what Merlin told me," Audrey first addressed Haru. "I've only used it once, though, so I haven't tested its full potential. Unless you guys wanna go to sleep right now." It was then that she remembered, "Oh! And one more thing: I can turn my mist into sleeping dust. So I'm like the Sandman." She meant the supernatural being, not the comic character in question. On that note, she then turned to Spencer, first pouting when he told her no frolicking. "But I like frolicking like an idiot. And singing. Those are what help me think, and that's what I need for my magic to work." Whining aside, she also grew serious when he told her what was really important: the idea of killing people with her magic. She had taken a few lives before this, mainly for her survival, though she never killed anyone with her magic (not counting that Storm Rider, of course). It sounded like a promise she couldn't keep...but she nodded anyway. "...I won't. Not with my magic, anyway. But if I have to defend myself against anymore crazy people that wanna kill me...well, that's what this thing's for." She held up her bow again, first showing the bladed edges in the curve of the arc, then pressing the groove on the handle to turn it into a rapier to display its actual properties. She placed the Dreamweaver away on that note, nodding to the two on the note of making other things with her magic. "I have thought about making other things, though. I've just been dealing with a lot of s**t before, pardon my French, so it's been hard to focus on other things. But I'll try..." With that, she closed her eyes, holding her hands out. This time, she didn't start jumping around like a madwoman to focus; she just started singing to herself as she usually did before. Even though she had dealt with damage to her throat, she still had the ability to sing her favorite songs whenever she wanted, "Silent night surrounding me... On the shore of wistful sea... A kindest heart made me believe, the world as I wish it to be..." Once more, her mist appeared around her hands, beginning to mold and take shape. The girl continued to focus, holding her hands up and cupping them as if to hold something in her hand. The magic energy gathered into her grip, swirling around, beginning to 'bloom' into something new. For once, she didn't lose focus, as she soon felt something in her gloved hands. She opened her eyes to see her results, and gave a small gasp as she saw what she made. A flower made of pink mist had blossomed in her hands. |

"Woah, so a full on mage of dreams. That's soooo cool!" The hero-in-training exclaimed, "I'd love to see that kind of stuff in action. Just not with my usual dreams though....I kind of like my dream super mech fighting matches for myself." Haru then stared carefully as Audrey started to sing and cast her magic, mesmerized not just by the song but also by the pink mist concentrating in her hands and taking shape. Skoll did not seem as impressed, as he glance to the side and ignored the sight. However, his focus returned to the dream weaver as her magic was somehow resonating with his very being. As a spirit with no physical appearance, he could see how the tip of his energy body seemed to drip off him before vanishing into the girl's mist of dreams. The dark wind just huffed and sat, looking away once more from the scene. Haru saw the magic transform into a beautiful flower before speaking. "That's amazing. Great job, Audrey." He then turned to Skoll and grumbled, "Too bad /someone/ can't be a bit more polite and actually watch." Skoll just turned his face away and huffed. Haru childishly sticking his tongue out at him before turning back to the others. "You know, all of this reminds me, that I also gotta come up with more ways to use my powers. I have even been practicing a new move lately. Ready Skoll?" No response. Not even paying attention to him... Haru just sighed as he then closed his eyes and concentrated. The wolf spirit transforming into a current of dark wind, visible for both Audrey and Spencer as it circled around the red-haired boy. "Alright, now...Umbral Wings!!" As the boy jumped into the air, the Dark Wind then morphed into a pair of dark energy wings that spawned out of his back. "Haha, great. Now for this badass new move. This gotta be done in style!" With that he soared higher into the sky, gaining a good enough altitude from his point to where his two friends were standing. "It's time...Umbral Drill!!" As he dive-bombed towards the gardens, Haru started to spin in freefall. His wings turning back into the current that started to circle and circle around him. His body consumed by the Dark Wind and it morphed into a huge spiral drill. It was a sight to behold as the drill seemed to quickly descend from the air at full force...only to suddenly poof out of the Umbral Morph. Haru able to hear a cackle as he was left alone and falling. "Wait Skoll, oh you son of a-aaaaaaah!!" The unfortunate hero then crashed right on one of the garden's shrubbery statues, which luckily softened his fall, then dropped him back to where Audrey and Spencer stood, with his face against the grass. "I-I'm okay....owww...." Skoll then materialized back in wolf form next to him, unable to contain his laughter. |

"That's fine, I guess. Better than a lot of people I've met. Just remember, there's always another way, no matter what it seems like." He paused, watching Audrey make the glowing flower with her powers. "Pretty good for a beginner. I figure it's a lot like drawing. If the construct is big, or more detailed, it'd be harder to make quickly, right? So when you're in a pinch, just try to focus on the simple stuff. But this... this is useful. Making anything you want with your brain? I'd say you can do just about anything with that." Spencer stopped to watch Haru's at first impressive, but then highly embarrassing display. "Looks like that ghost dog a' yours ain't too cooperative. Got a good sense of humor, though." |

Audrey only continued to stare at the flower in awe, almost not listening to the guys. She knew she could make anything besides her arrows if she put her mind to it, but it was still a surprise to see for herself. Putting her creativity to use, to create anything she wanted... Her train of thought came to a pause when Haru decided to test out his own abilities, her flower disappearing into mist. Though she remembered him using the wings before, it got her thinking of a possible construct for her to use sometime, a thought that filled her with excitement. And then he went and made a drill...which made her question what it was with guys and drills. It probably had something to do with a certain anime, though what did she know? Of course, as per usual, Skoll just went and decided to pull him out of it, making him fall back into the gardens unceremoniously. As comedic a scene as it was, Audrey just had to shake her head at the spirit wolf's continued antics. Before she could have her say on the matter, a thought occurred to her. Her mist appearing around her hands again, she approached Skoll as he laughed at Haru's misfortune. This time, the energy took form of something akin to a rolled up newspaper, simplified as this was thought up on the fly unlike the flower. As it came to her hands, she stopped in front of the cackling wolf...and whacked the construct right on his nose. "Bad dog!" |

"I'm getting used to it, believe it or not..." Haru responded at Spencer followed with a sight, still on the floor. Skoll continued his laughter as the hero's misfortune was always a highlight to his day. He was so entranced on his own amusement that he did not bat an eye at Audrey approaching him. It was then when she smacked it with the construct right on the nose, stopping his laughter. A short silence followed as Skoll's eyes widened in surprise as her creation was actually able to hit him. He backed up a few steps unfounded before getting angry at the humiliation this meant, growling and glaring at Audrey. However that didn't last long as the girl didn't seem to back away from the growling. Truth to be told, something with the innocent girl made that even a demon spirit like him couldn't actually harm her, specially for this. The Dark Wind then turned his face away and huffed. "Woah...that actually worked!" Haru said in surprise while he got back to his feet and dusted some leaves off his vest. The red-haired boy then approached the demon wolf. "So I guess deep down you /can/ be somewhat obedient, hehe. I gotta remember this for later." Skoll then glared at his with the most furious of stares. Haru just backing up and gulping. "Yeah...taunt your demon spirit partner, not the best idea I ever come up with..." |

Ignoring the antics with Skoll and Haru for the most part, Spencer lightly grabbed the hand Audrey had used to make the dog-cowing construct, indicating the construct still there. "See? Didn't even really have to think for that one, huh? Try to work on that. I saw you doing that singing thing. It's a focus, like a staff, but it can be dangerous. Like a crutch. Find more ways to just think and do, yeah?" He let go of her hand, and flopped back on the grass, hands behind his head. "That's all I got for ya today. Work on the stuff I taught you and you can learn a lot on your own, too." |

Audrey only glared right back when Skoll growled at her, holding up the construct again in warning. "Don't give me any of that, or it'll be a water spray next time. I have a trained pit bull back home for a reason." That said, she looked to Spencer when he grabbed her hand and instructed her in her use of her power. Indeed, this was something she thought up on the spot, rather than singing and dancing like she usually did when she used them. If she did more of this, she would have a better advantage instead of wasting her time on trying to focus. It was something she had to work on. When Spencer flopped back onto the grass, indicating that they were done, she nodded, smiling down at him. "Thanks for the lesson. I'll try to work more on it from hereon out. It was nice meeting you, Spencer, even though we had a rough meeting." She then looked to Haru. "It was nice seeing you too, Haru. We oughtta work more on our powers together sometime; I think we can make some cool things." Finally, she knelt beside Skoll, giving the spirit wolf a light scratch behind the ears. "And I'll see you soon, too, Skoll. No hard feelings, right?" Standing back to her feet, she looked to the guys again. "Also, if you guys see Sorin again...just let him know I'm alright, okay? Unless I find him first...well, you guys get what I mean." Ignoring the blush that formed at the thought of the swordsman, she then waved to them like an enthusiastic child. "See ya later!" And with that, she turned and started frolicking away, singing to herself once more. After the traumatic experience on that island, today seemed to lift her spirits. She now had a better grasp on her powers, and she made a new friend on top of that. She felt that things were beginning to look up for her now... ...Or so she thought. But what the dream-wielder didn't know, what the others didn't know, was that someone had been watching them, listening in the entire time. He had been hiding behind one of the tall hedge bushes in the garden, keeping just out of sight, but enough to watch the three from where he was. The pure light surrounding this world had been giving him a headache, the bright colors practically blinding him. Normally, he would've left not even seconds upon appearing here, but after this discovery, he had every reason to stay, even if it meant enduring these annoyances. For after all this time, Ignis Fatuus had finally found his manifestor. It was no trick this time; here she was, right before his very eyes. However, he felt far from victorious. As he saw, that mage Spencer Parker had actually caught up to her and warned her like he said he would. Not only did she heed this warning, but from what she said, she already knew what he had done and didn't even deny it. She was laughing, singing, standing for herself...she even had a weapon and wore armor on top of that. She had been mingling with these 'insects', even after everything he told her about them. But most of all, the way she spoke of this 'Sorin'...the tone of her voice...she had actually run off with another man! All of these thoughts only filled him with anger, his hand crushing the leaves on the hedge and burning them to a crisp. How dare she, after everything he did for her... The man kept from flying off the handle, however, not wanting to give himself away to these fools. She might've thought she could stand for herself now, but once he confronted her, he was certain she'll just fall back to the cowardly little brat that she always was. And then...he'll make her regret ever leaving him behind, thinking she could turn against him and run off on him. With this in mind, he disappeared in his signature flames, keeping on the girl's trail. If his dear manifestor wanted to confront him, then by all means, he was going to let her do so very soon... |

Skoll just grumbled and turned his face away of the girl. As annoyed as he was from being humiliated, he couldn't bring himself to attack her. Audrey then started to take her leave, saying goodbye to her friends. "Sure. See ya next time!" Haru happily said. It was really nice to have seen Audrey so cheerful and upbeat. Not very long ago she met her as a fragile and very depressed girl so he couldn't have been prouder that she was learning to enjoy her life more. "Well, I better gotta find that supply room now. Till next time, Spence" He waved at the young magician before walking away to continue with his quest. However, as they were just about to leave the garden, Skoll stopped on his tracks halfway as a troubled wind blew around them both. "Something wrong?" Asked Haru. The Dark Wind growled as he glared at a tall hedge nearby, like if something or someone was hidding in there. The red-haired boy walked to it only to find it empty, with the exception of some charcoaled patch of grass. "There's nobody here...though it seems like someone accidentally burn a bit of the garden here, weird..." Skoll closed his eyes and sighed. The presence was gone, so there was nothing neither of them could do. As the duo continued their way, the demonic wind spirit couldn't shake the feeling of the malevolent being that previously stood in that place. |
