http://pitchfork.com/reviews/albums/11869-the-yes-album-fragile-close-to-the-edge-tales-from-topographic-oceans-relayer-going-for-the-one-tormato-drama-90125/

I found a history of the band Yes (or the early years, prior to Union) on the web site Pitchfork. Evidently they're a site dedicated to punk music, or at least one that favors it, but they were remarkably fair in their assessment of the band, and I found myself agreeing with pretty much everything they said. I found the unflattering comments about Tales from Topographic Oceans and Relayer pretty amusing... they call Relayer in particular "noisy and grotesque," which mirrors my first impression of the album. I've since come to peace with it, but it's still not a favorite of mine. Any album where Jon Anderson does his best imitation of a Purina Cat Chow commercial could never be considered a classic.

So hey, Yesman, you ever going to start reviewing Yes albums again? I'd love to see that, especially since the third one would be next.

Sure, if ya'll want. Remember, I'm not really reviewing from an unbiased or impartial stance, it's really more of a huge musician fan and why I like the craft of what they've created. I'll come up with one here shortly.
