Of those, I have Final Fantasy XIII and Eternal Sonata. I don't know when I'll get back to my Final Fantasy-ing. I left off playing FFIX on disc 3 I think. I really should try to finish it. That Leaves FFIII,IV (DS), FFVIII, FFX, FFX-2, FFXII, and FFXIII. That's all of the main series, not counting spin offs. Yeah, I don't know how I'll held off playing through them all these years either. I just like to procrastinate, I guess. Even with games. I'm still miffed at Square for FFXI and FFXIV. Those should NOT be part of the main series. Way to exclude half of your fans Square-Enix. If you ever get to Two Worlds, let me know. Been curious about that one. I think I bought the 1st one on GOG (was on sale or something). |

My Xbox finally bit the dust. I guess I should be happy it lasted 6 years. Anyways I've been playing No More Heroes 2, and like all of my Megaten games lately since I've been disconnected. |

Argh! Another Xbox 360 casualty!
You've played the first? The second seems like a graphical improvement over the first one but doesn't seem to have the tongue-in-cheekiness of the first game. Looks like a fun sandbox to play in, though. Doesn't quite look like you can "break" the system where you could get an uber-powerful item by picking up 120 swords and combining them. I think they took that out. |

That sucks Kay! That's also one of the main reasons I went with a PS3 instead. Although, I've been hearing about plenty of YLOD's too. The newer 360 models are supposed to be better though. I think I'd even buy one if I had the $$. I really miss DLC store access.
Sigh, no. Like I said, it was cheap "on sale" at GOG one day. I just had to buy it. Sadly, I don't do a whole lot of PC gaming. It's just not as comfortable and convenient as console gaming. I should just change my sig to "Oh hey I have that, is it any good?" On a completely unrelated note: Does anyone know what happens when you mistake/use a "100uf 6.3V" capacitor instead of a "0.47uf 50V" capacitor? In my results, it's a whole lot of nothing (the GameGear I put it in turned on then off promptly; nothing blew, it just didn't STAY on). I noticed and rectified my mistake, and the GG is fully operational. What I mainly want to know is if those 100uf caps are still safe to use. |

I have played the first to death and if you want to do some third-person dungeon crawling with a lot of campy humor then you'll have a good time.
That. Is. Funny.
Do you have a multimeter to test them? Doesn't seem like the uF would make much difference but the voltage is certainly a concern but you may have damaged the capacitor when it tried to restrict that much power. You had a little power to turn the unit on and then it realized it didn't have enough to keep going. Of course, I could be completely wrong, so never mind. I'm no electrician. |

Yeah, that may be an issue (the voltage i mean) going to a higher voltage (i.e. a 35v in place of a 25v) is ok but not the other way around usually. Also Shigure_Asa, did you see my response over here http://s13.zetaboards.com/The_Gameroom_Blitz/topic/6797279/1/#new about the PSP? |

I understand that about the voltage (okay going higher, not lower). I just don't know how the "uf" rating affects it (like did power even get in?). I might still use them on one of my lesser GameGears that need fixing and see what happens. I would be more worried if the system actually stayed on for more than a second. But I may just throw them out too. I think I have enough of those caps that I don't need them too badly. I don't have a multimeter yet. I really should get one. |
