There is a way to get this to work and work properly. I purchased an ASUS PCE-AC55BT 802.11ac Wireless-AC1200 Bluetooth 4.0 PCIe / mPCIe adapter which is for a desktop but you can remove the card from the adapter and use it in a laptop. Along with this I downloaded and installed BT_18.16.1_64_Win7 from Intels website. Works flawlessly. I will admit I purchased this mouse for the express reason to show Microsoft that there is a way to get it to work in Windows 7 (plus its a really, really cool mouse). You may just need the Intel driver if you happen to have an Intel Bluetooth 4 card already installed. Oh and, keeping it alive
