With Chelsea seemingly buying Giroud for £18m, that is a bargain.

I'm 99% certain we'll be buying nobody which is difficult to understand when Sturridge has gone, Couts is away...

FSG being stingy bar stewards.

No, there won't be. And if that means not buying Giroud, then I'm fine with that.

Again all this will only matter if Liverpool don't finish in the top 4 again. Be outside next years CL spots then this transfer inertia per se will come back and bite everyone involved at the club in the rear end as the fan inquisition will begin and the media will have field day.

Finish 4th then Klopp is a mastermind manager who did a great job under the tight FSG purse strings.

Mahrez outs in transfer request. Probably due to the FA that citeh have offered £50m....they need someone else seeing as Sane is out injured.

How can anyone compete ???

You got it. As I keep saying, you have to wait until the end of the season to judge Klopp and his position on replacing Coutinho in this window.

We are far from the Arsenal of the North. They were in the CL 20 years straight. We haven't been close - despite outspending the Gunners. 4th or better, and advancement in the Cl to perhaps the semi final is completely doable and will be progress for Liverpool FC.

The Cup defeat was a major disappointment, but that's what the cup is all about. Better to go our with your boots on, and a strong side playing shit, than do a Burnley (with our reserves) and a Djimi Traore job. I can live with a full Liverpool side losing more than our reserves getting knocked out of cups.

I agree. Fuck it. Klopp played an extremely strong XI vs WBA , what else could he of done ? Players picked a terrible day to have an off game, well two if you count the Swansea one from a few days earlier.

Perhaps they were still drunk from the Man. City festival win and then the Dubai trip. Who knows. As long as they can finish 4 th again. We move on.

Anyone get the feeling we are losing out in the January sales ?.

The PEA to arsenal for £56m, Giroud to Chelsea for £18m, Sanchez off to the mancs, Mkyitharean off to arsenal, citeh put a £60m bid for Mahrez and Leicester don't know where he is...

We get VVD and nobody else but get rid of Sturridge, Couts and several others out on loan. But JK says he's happy with the squad....FFS !!!!

What is not to be happy about RJ? Now comfortably in 4th in the league with Spurs to come visit. Arsenal slipping badly. Just points out of 2nd place to clubs we apparently admire so much for their attention to spending. Neither of them look hot shit. City simply having a one off blinder of a season. Setting the pace for future reference. We beat them too. We are in the CL last 16. We spent 75 Million (world Record) on a defender, likely not worth half the amount, and 12 million on one seemingly worth 3 times as much. Honestly do not get all the long faces.

Arsenal got Aubemeyang and Mkytarian but lost all of Sanchez, Giroud and Walcott . Not sure what's better for them but either way they will solidify a 6th finish, their worse in I don't know, got to be at least 25 years.

Dead right JB, he's the best centre half in Europe , better than VVD and would have been i think 30-35 million cheaper
