It is lazy , stupid journalism. The Guy writing it cannot even do simple maths , such is the bias they are trying to achieve.

The Author Steve Bates points out that after 135 games in charge Both Managers have achieved 70 wins , Klopp has 7 less defeats in that time.

So not a massive difference in results .

He then goes on to say that Rodgers beats Klopp due to the fact that Klopp has made only 34m in profit from player sales whereas Rodgers has made nearer 100m.

There is a chart pictured in the tabloid of the People showing this .

However reading the so called facts the author states Klopp has spent 221.3m whilst recouping 255.5m , I e making a profit of some 34.2m

It then states Rodgers spent 299.5m whilst recouping 200m leaving Rodgers nearly 100m in the black. It should obviously be showing 100m in the RED.

It would mean that Rodgers spent 134m more than Klopp to achieve lesser results , a fact that the author misses entirely in his search to push home an anti Klopp agenda .

One fact he does seem to get right is ... Klopp " is loved by his American based bosses at FSG".

The whole piece is a complete Anti LFC piece being used in an attempt to undermine LFC, by the Manc based media IMO.

Bates is a big United guy, hates us with a passion. He can't handle the fact that the Ferguson era is well and truly over.

Trophy!! Might I suggest that the league is the ultimate test of any managers worth. Not cups. In which case we have been failed for about 27 years. Anything trophy wise in the interim was just a decent run of cup wins.

We have finshed outside the top 4 for about 10 seasons, it seems to me. Became worse even with a significant injection of players under Rodgers. Not sure how any manager can be expected to turn that sort of form around.

Klopps been our best manager these past 20 years. That is my opinion. No other manager has been able to win the league in 25 plus years. I can see Klopp achieving this.

Platform 2015 "parks, if i want to say anything constructive i wont use this forum mate."

so the champions league is not the ultimate test ??? i think fergie would disagree since he had all the money in the world and the so called greatest boss could only manage two in over 20 years while pissing the league every other year .as for klopp winning the prem its not like germany were he had to fight with one great team there are at least 5 more great sides to beat in england and i am certain klopp wont win it (hope he proves me wrong like )

Only six teams have ever won the PL and now with citeh and mancs spending mega bucks what chance is there for the rest of us. Even Chelsea don't spend as much anymore now.
