Great result for the lad. He'll become a top player, of that I'm sure.

A ready-made future number 8? ;)

Doing brilliantly there, proving that he's probably too good for that league, and hopefully will come back in January a far more confident player.

Is he not gone for the entire season?

Made up for the lad, just getting game time and a run of consecutive games under his belt will do him the world of good, more so the more goals he scores.

I thought it was a 3 month deal mate - I'll have a check.

Good news then.

He'll surely be in Kenny's New Year plans if Gerrard can't make a successful recovery this time round.

I know that this will sound negative but currently I think that Shelvey's level is probably the championship. He has got a lot to learn from what I have seen from the few times he played for Liverpool. It might be best if he stays there for the rest of the season- he will learn a lot more.

Until he goes three successive matches without scoring, in which case he will be another rubbish acquisition, eh, Baz?

Yeah I'm inclined to agree.
I think he is rash in decision making, and can be a bit wayward with his passing.
He needs fine tuning.

But then again....what the hell do I know.
Are you not entertained? ....Are you not entertained? ...Is this not why you are here?

Let him earn his place here with an excellent season (or two) in a smaller club. I think the lad has lots of potential. Like him better than 20 mil Hendo.
