at this moment in time everyone wants kenny to succeed.if he doesnt then many will look around to see who is about to replace him....not many candidates right now if he went are there.in such an instance i believe rafa could well become a serious contender. would you trust a klinsman or an upstart like chelsea's young manager over the pedigree of an experienced man like rafa.
Kenny aint going anywhere but ''if'' and its only a ''if'' for comment sake i,d have to agree with RM.

Sorry, but surveying posts on various forums and chatrooms provides a very poor barometer of any subject, Rafa included. These forums are notorious as vehicles for griping and bellyaching, so that's what we see most of. The majority of supporters don't post, they just turn up and support, and by and large they are much more tolerant than those who post. They complain when we lose, and cheer when we win, but they don't have agendae, as a lot of posters do. As for myself, I thought that Rafa was the difference between a second place team and a tenth placed team. In my view, a lot of players became overachievers under his guidance. Nobody thought of turning Gerrard into a successful second striker until Rafa did it. And I lost time of the number of times so-called supporters would go ballistic at his choice of starting eleven and tactics, then have to eat their words when we won. It didn't always work. That's life. And his detractors only point at his failures. Kenny is doing well, and deserves his chance, for sure. And I suspect that he is planning on bringing back the bootroom approach, eventually to hand over to Gerrard. That's how Kenny got his managerial career launched. If so, Rafa's chance has gone. But if he were to return, I would expect him to do well.
gerrard was already a success before rafa came to LFC. if anything, his talents were wasted under rafa's ineffective management.
Do you know how daft you sound? Gerrard played the best football of his career under Rafa, Fact.
his talents were wasted under rafa.

Were it not for Gerrard we would of been trophieless under Benitez. At least under Houllier it was a collective team effort.
Also funny how Cisse, a player isolated, ostracized and alienated by Benitez, bailed us out big time in Cardiff.
The proof is in the pudding: unemployed. His yahoo eurosport articles are worse than Paul Parker's and that is saying something.
