Rubbish. He's played well in most of our games. Let's get the guile-ometer out and measure his guile... What's that? Guile is a subjective trait which cannot be proved or disproved in players? That's a perfect weakness for rm to spot in Adam's game - lack of guile! |

WTF ? No Guile?? What do you call the tackle up field to create our first goal? What about the 40 yard pass to the feet of Johnson for the second? I'm hoping for a bit more of this lack of guile you speak of. |

IF RM says there's no guile then there's no guile... That pass was a hoof...and the tackle was because he fell over while running...aint that right dub? |

hes not the best admitedly..BUT.. to the lads credit he has taken things on board and upped his game.he has to continue with that if he is to be of use to the team. the other 3 have not upped there game and apear at best to be impact substitutes to bring on later in games.hopefully adam will continue were he left off at chelsea.he done well.needs to be involved all game though.tbf to him he came back stronger wereas previously after 50mins he disapeared.on sunday he came back into it after the period were chelsea were on top. |

In fairness I had both the guile-ometer and the pace-o-tracker out on Sunday and Adam measured 7 and 9 respectivly. I was surprised to say the least. Do with this info what you will but don't let Tomkins have it. |

Garth crooks team of the week CHARLIE ADAM Midfield Liverpool This player is growing into a real Liverpool gem, with shades of Graeme Souness about his game. Adam won the ball for Liverpool's first goal against Chelsea, saw off Ramires, then provided a sensational pass for Glen Johnson to weave his way past a bewildered Chelsea defence for the winner. An outstanding performance. Did you know? Adam has set up more shots than any other player at Liverpool in the Premier League this season (25). |

Just to add, for a player who is not rated by many on here and other fora, Charlie Adam is doing a fantastic job. He's scored a couple, he's created a good few, and has been pivotal for us in many matches this season. I think he could end up with 10+ goals and 15+ assists if he keeps going the way he's going. That would be not bad going for a second rate championship player at best. |

adam has done well for me out of the signings of the summer he has been up there with enrique for me the only problem with adam is like the rest of the midfield he lacks pace and playing along side a player with pace adam would be great but with stevie out we dont have one. |

The Garth Crooks thing can be taken with a pinch of salt as can all stats. You watch a match an form your own conclusions from beginning to end. A bad pass in the opponents half is not as badas one on the edge of your box, but the stats just show one bad pass. Same for a missed or made tackle. Stats tell only part of the story. Adam is certainly lacking in pace, but so was Alonso. Like Alonos, Adam is showing he has the vision to pick out players in forward positions. I personally worry about him playing alongside Lucas as neither is grace with speed. The answer (as on Sunday) would be to flood the middle with 5 players, or introduce Gerrard. Not sure Gerrard and Adam alone, are the two you want in toughter games, but certainly thy should be considered against what might be considered wweaker opposition, or home games. Lucas played well on Sunday, and so did Adam. While they can take a fair bit of credit (certainly Adam can), the support players, and those who came on as subs all di their jobs. Henderson had a bright 20 odd minutes when introduced. Team has to be looking forward to putting a down trodden CIty under the Anfield cosh. Come on you reds!!!!! |

I know you hate stats, but Lucas and Agger have been our quickest players this season, measured over a 10 yard distance. Useless stat, but also one which will surprise a few. Agree on misplaced passes, but surely when very few are misplaced, it becomes more and more likely that none(or very few) will be misplaced in a dangerous area? The fact that the players around our midfield two worked so hard and did so much running made their jobs easier, but they did it well nonetheless. If we could work that hard every week we would be in a much better place - as long as we take our chances. |

I didn't know that. Did you know that Dirk is our fastest player? He is the quickest player in the Squad.....over 26 miles, he's the only one of em that could complete a Marathon.

But if Dirk didn't give the ball away so often, he wouldn't need to run the marathon. A half marathon would probably do it. |

Doesn't surprise me about Lucas. I have said this before, but if our central defenders get caught in the opposing penalty box on set pieces, Lucas is our best player in snuffing out the danger of the counter attack. Fast, good positional sense and anticipation, and stays on his feet for the tackle. And takes the yellow card in his stride, if he has to. I always wonder when I hear people call him slow, whether it is their perception that is slow. |

I'd take 30 pad passes, shots and tackles if we won every game. Unlikely to happen like, but there it is. Really fancy our chances on the weekend. City won't know what hit them. Interesting to see what formation Kenny goes with. |

I'm sure that you thought that, by trying to roll this '7th place finish' by us, Baza, you would draw us off the scent. You tried to insinuate that I claimed that all our players are perfect and that I don't trust Kenny, just so that you could claim that our players are not perfect, and that you trust Kenny 110%. Whereas, of course, I said neither of these two things. That is known as 'setting up a straw man, so you can knock him down', Baza, if you want a recognised description of your tactic, as you will doubtless want to use it again. Your support of Kenny is touching, that you would do so even if we finished 7th. You would show your support of Kenny in your usual fashion, no doubt. By criticising his acquisitions, his tactics, his team selection, and everything that he does, but not him. And I think that you owe us contributors an explanation as to how and why you would hang on to this faith if we really did finish 7th. |
