although he scored a blinder against the chavs last week i still feel johnson is not the best defender on the right, i really think kenny should put him on the right wing with kelly right back, would add so much more balance.

It's definitely an option many have suggested. Glen Johnson is a great player, and his defensive attributes have improved, but I too would like to see him given a go on the right side further forward, just to see once and for all if that position suits him better.

Many fans have wanted to see Johnson played in that position but three managers Rafa, Hodgson and Kenny ( up to now ) won't, haven't got a clue why but they all must know something we don't

Spot on. Managers are where they are because they know what they are doing (in the main). Supporters scream and bawl for managers to do something, and if it goes tits up it's the manager's fault.
I'd love to see Glen tried further forward, but if not then I'm happy with him at right back, with the competition from Kelly and Flanno.

A left footed player? That's what you call a real right winger?
You're more deluded than I thought. I assume you'd start getting on his back when you realised he cuts in onto his stronger foot more often than not?
Not doing very well, are you?

He has. I pointed this out to Blonde Boy yesterday. He takes a while to absorb information. Sometimes he never absorbs it.

Oh he can and does play on the right wing, but is he a real right winger? Getting down the wing and giving us width? No, he cuts in more often than not, being less of a winger and more of a wide midfielder.
You'd be screaming for us to play him on the left after half a dozen games.

now now dear boy, getting flustered...
his wages doubled to £90k pw....still £30 less than what g.johnson is on.....
a player signing a contract usually implies the asset increases in value....so man city can ask for more.

The best "natural" RW I've seen over the last decade is Jesus Navas.
but forget about signing him; he has panic attacks if he goes as far as his local chippy.
