for me its the lack of just two quality midfielders. the team is doing ok in games yet not winning so that says it is lacking somewhere. some say its strikers but even if agguero had of been playing for liverpool today even he would not of scored.lack of creativity.inability to create chances. yes carrol had a chance but he does what he does best with it. lucas and adam whilst no where near good enough are at least holding their own.no more than that. time and again henderson and downing are proving they cannot be trusted to start games. kenny now seems to be giving them a rest when they play bad then putting them back in. maxi should of played today. defence is solid.attack is not too bad but could do better. that leaves 2 key areas in midfield and it is downing and henderson lacking. collectivly the 4 are not the best and certainly the 4 together will never be the what is needed. |

Missing? You haven't been paying attention, or you are just winding up the other posters. We are missing what we have been missing all season. Goals. It will stay that way until we get strikers who can get the job done, or get overdue production from those whom we currently have. But you knew that all along, didn't you, RM? |

argghhhh!!!! ffsakkee! lol you are totaly missing the fact that regardless of who is the striker the creativity is not good enough from midfield areas....no damaging balls played through or hardly any crosses played in. |

We are lacking a lot of luck. We should have at least 6 points more on the board. Goalkeepers are having great games at Anfield. Even away to Stoke we were desperately unfortunate. We have a good run of games on paper coming up, let's hope we really turn the screw and get consecutive victories. |

surely if it keeps happening it is down to more than luck.by that token we could say man city have been very lucky this season because theyve scored alot of goals and won alot of games..great run of luck. no,the team plateau's out at a certain level and it is then that the lack of quality in relevent areas is more aparrent. |

Lads.....we're ticking along nicely, this is a team in transition....and so far we've beaten Chelsea and arsenal in their own back yards......thumped both city and united at Anfield without getting our just rewards. I'm telling you now...this team is gonna stick about 6-7 goals past some unlucky keeper one day real soon |

I'm reasonably happy with what we have apart from Downing and Henderson, Henderson is being played out of position so we need to accept that, saying that not sure what his position is. We are crying out for a wide man which has been said so many times just hope Kenny sorts it. Effort put in yesterday was great but we didn't win so that tells us something, it's no use fans keep saying the away teams goalie was MOM, bottom line is we need to start winning and until Kenny changes the midfield we will have the same problem |

When even Sly Sports acknowledge that for the last four home games the oppositions keepers have played a blinder, you know you've been unlucky. As for the OP, its just laughable how after that performance some are still attacking the team. Only one other team have stopped City winning in the league this season, and no one else has restricted them to less than two goals. But for Hart we would have had 3 points in the bag. In short, grow up and support your team. |

So the chances that we are creating is not enough for you. Unless specific players are creating we're doing something wrong? I've said it before - Downing has created chances, Adam has created chances, Henderson has created chances, Bellamy, Maxi and Kuyt have created chances. You must be on the wind up. |

So until we change the midfield, the team will keep missing chances? The opposition keeper is only making miraculous saves because of our midfield? Doesn't add up. |

I don't understand the question. We have just battered the most in form, most expensive and arguably best team in world club football and but for an incredible goalkeeping performance would have won. Also, we did it while playing some great attacking football, showing real team spirtit and excellent determination. All of this without our supposed best player on the park. Beggars fucking belief |

Well if battering the like of City, Utd, Swansea and Norwich is good enough for you it's not for me, the object of the game is to win. On another post i've said that the effort put in yesterday was fantastic and the players deserve credit but please stop kidding yourselves because we didn't win. |

Sooty if the players we have put the chances away that would be ok, but we aren't taking our chances are we ? Downing and Kuyt should have scored yesterday, better qualtity players would have done. The question people like you should be asking is why aren't we scoring ? Not keep repeating about how good the away team goalie is, what more proof do you need, we aren't scoring any effing goals so we dont win matches. |

Well, people often say that the premier league is the best in europe. Barca have 28 points from 13 games Real have 34 and Man City have 35. Just a thought. Barca habe also yet to play Real while City have played United. |
