people are getting upset putting spearing on par with him. imagine what others feel when putting lucas on par with gerrard.

now lucas is on par with rvp. will wonders never cease.

If you were to actually give an accurate assessment of our players - that would be a wonder.

Nobody has put Lucas on a par with Gerrard.

riiiiiight. ok.

You obviously feel they have. You have no evidence of this.

So "riiiiiight. ok." is on a par with your usual arguent.

if thats what you think then lets leave it at that.

It's what I think, and it's a fact, since you have no evidence to the contrary.

i'll be sure to get some stats next time. henderson is not included in the stats today right....just bellamy with the assist and maxi with the goal. that interlink play can be ignored and be jotted down as a successful pass completion. no one will be the wiser.

Don't need stats Einstein. Just evidence. Either that or it's rubbish.

The rest of your post is back to your normal total lack of understanding of basic concepts.

Unless you go back to school, there's really no hope for your poor grey matter.

immense is such a strong word. it is only used to exagerate for him.

he played well tonight.

No, you are wrong. Lucas was immense, he was everywhere. Tackling in left back position, supporting the attack, running the midfield, winning every tackle, winning the aerial balls. Did not put a foot wrong and led by example.

In short he was immense.

Lucas had another great game but by far, our best player tonight was Bellamy. Fuking OUTSTANDING tonight. OUT - fucking - STANDING!!!!! No more debate on it.

Great game from Lucas tonight too. Lad's been solid. Fair dues. We'll see how much we miss is impressive stats now if he's injured. Feel sorry for him. He was deffo in form and taking care of business tonight.

As I said on another thread - great to be arguing about who was our best player. So many excelled tonight. Lucas got it for me because he was everywhere - defending, attacking, winning everything in the air and on the deck, snapping into tackles.

Bellamy was fantastic also - two great assists.
