Not sure how old this is but did anyone see this programme on LFC tv?? If so, what did you think of it? It makes me ashamed to think that this kind of player once played for Liverpool and that, as a boy, I once cheered for him. The whole interview was a chronological debate about the more, shall we say, colourful aspects of his career but, in short, a f*** disgrace. Gets into an off the field scuffle on his first day Fractures Beardsley's jaw Breaks Andy Cole's legs Has a fight on the plane with Robbie This "pass the pound" game which is the first time i heard it. didnt quite understand it but judging by the young lad's seriousness who asked the question it didnt sound very good. Neil Ruddock is fat, scruffy ######. People moan about the foreigners in the game and i happen to feel that there are too many but nonehteless glad this culture doesnt exist anymore. Glad Houllier put an end to this. |

Razor was a good character but indulged way too much off the field. Anyone remember when he pulled Cantona's collar down. Classic moment. "Who the hell do you think you are you French ######" StevieG4ever is bang on the money. I'm truly grateful to houllier for killing that culture that was eating away at the club under Evans. Have you ever listened to McAteer or Babb in interviews state . "The Man United lad's done just as much as we did in terms of partying and drinking. The only difference was they won and we didn't" Anyone buy that? Ferguson wouldn't have allowed it hence McGrath and Whiteside got the boot in the late 80s. Evans was a disaster as liverpool coach in my opinion. Decent fella who played a great brand of football but way too soft and let senior players walk all over him. Ged soon sorted that out.

I agree Adamski. The fact is that Ferguson removed this culture in United long before we had Houllier remove it. After Ince left it all changed for us and within two years we won the treble. You're right; Ferguson saw it early with the likes of McGrath, Webb and Whiteside. Players like Ruddock make me ashamed to be honest. |

there was also the famous quote by mcmanaman..."the utd players know we are better than them" ..refering to the crop of up and coming utd players and the ones at liverpool....and look who won all the trophies. mcmanaman was not a good player at all.light weight flattered to decieve, extremely inconsistent and injury prone.he got lucky with a move to madrid were a few goals aprt he was no where near good enough for their team either despite scoring in the c l final for them.spice boy. |

Ruddock ,macca and fowler were a disgrace to lfc (fowler to a lesser degree as he was led by the other two muppets) they fucked about on the pitch ,were more interested in going on the piss after games and beating the opposition to the bar rather than beating them on the pitch.roy evens wasnt strong enough to sort these fuckers out and thats the reason robbie and ince were sold after huollier come in cos they were a bad influence on the young lads coming through and i believe robbie regretted his early days were he fucked about to much with these ###### and was glad to come back as he loves the club .the other two i wouldnt cross the street for they were a total disgrace to lfc. |

i agree there.mcmanaman and ruddock were non entities as liverpool players and i wouldnt care if i saw them or not.as a pundit mcmanaman is rude arrogant and shouts his opinion over.(is he on this forum  ) fowler was avery good finisher in his youth. as i said the other day he was a regular on the town getting pizzed up...that spoiled him as he neglected his talent. |

Ruddock it was an atitude thing. Fowler and Mcmanaman it was a culture thing that was all over the English game but I don't think they were a disgrace. |
