Are the club being truthful with the supporters about the extent of his injury. He is definitely not training- if he was this would have been picked up by the press. I fear that he will be out for a long time.

is his leg still in plaster ? not sure if its the norm to be put in plaster due to an infection ,or whether it was plastered to protect the scar. i had an infection in my shoulder after an op , but two of weeks penicillin cleared it all up totally. just wonder if its really his groin area again . seems a bit strange shelvey was recalled if sg isnt far away from a recall. maybe this says sg is going to be out for a long while yet .

All I've heard is that Kenny is 'delighted ' with the progress he's making so goodness knows what is going on with him

Kenny's whistling past the graveyard, hoping that Stevie will actually be able to pull on boots again. Someday, somewere. It has been clear for too long that something is amiss here, but we have to resort to guesswork to beat the club coverup. My guess is that the groin has been injected with painkillers so often and for so long that the flesh in the region has deteriorated, leaving it susceptible to infection.

I think that you are absolutely right and I hate it when the club keeps supporters in the dark about players injuries.
