Great reason for a shared stadium. I guess there's no hope for teams who have their own stadium winning a title. I'll hazard a guess that teams with their own stadiums who have won titles throughout the world outnumber those who have shared stadiums by 30 to 1. It could be more, it could be less. Still, it's another reason - however daft & irrelevant I think it is - to list in the 'Pros for a shared stadium' column. |

Jurgen Klopp: 'It's only this game because of the fans, that's what I know, think and feel. We have to entertain them, we have to make their life better. Football is not so important, we don't save lives. We're not doctors. It's our job that they can forget their problems for 90 minutes and then they can talk about the game.' | |

There are 6 occupied house in Lothair Road I m told. It is also interesting that LFC do not appear to be approaching or engaging the owners /occupiers of these properties in any meaningful discussions. They seem to be leaving it to the Council. The Anny road has a couple of occupied premises right next door to the Shankly Gates on the ground side. On the opposite side all the previously Grade 2 listed buildings have now gone (fallen into disrepair ) so that side of the road is well cleared. As RS says to anyone looking in , it seems that there was only ever one serious option being considered, unless Billionaires blew in and uprooted everything lock stock and Albert. |

Lfc own all those derelict houses around the ground so the question is realy why have lfc as a club(not just under fsg regime) not saw fit to demolish them to tidy the area up and reduce the crime rate in the area by way of not having empty ghetos for drug addicts and the like to fester in.Surely it cannot cost too much to have them demolished and as ive said before ,the materials ...slates,bricks,lead etc from those houses is worth millions most likely so it is a revenue stream that can be worth considering too.The residents of the city never mind just around the ground ,deserve better as it is a blight on the city and the council should now serve notice that they will be demolished and the bill sent to lfc if they do not imediatly set about doing so themselves. It is disgraceful. |
