wont be surprised if it is true...sooner or later it will be anyway as many regulars begin to see through fsg and their lack of ambition despite talking alot.
Also many will be deflated with brendans apointment as they would of been with martinez too. Most will get behind brendan...for now...to see what hes about but expectations start at zero point now with him and with fsg...it will be clear enough soon!

brendan deserves a shot and not just one season but i fear we are on a downward spiral and its getting worse every season as the league table proves obviously the deluded will not acsept this but we all know the league doesnt lie only on here is that up for debate it seems but many reds i talk to in liverpool have had enough and its getting beyond the joke and i expect attemdances will soon be down and the club will be in real trouble should i be proved correct ,so good luck buck your going to need it lad .

What are other clubs like with season ticket sales? Are they flying off the shelves, or are they struggling to shift them?

Seems like an obvious point, but its not been mentioned in the thread so far - do you think the dire economic situation is having an effect?

Most likely combination of the two. People deciding not to spend hundreds of pounds that they probably can't afford based on our performances over the last few years. Had we been doing better, they may well have stumped up the cash.

i agree that was my point that with cash being tight for most people and lfc's future looking dodgy then fans are not willing to spend 800 of there hard earned when there not getting value for money

once the deadline has passed it would be interesting to see if those on the waiting list are contacted and offered a season ticket.

maybe some of the current holders are not happy and would rather rely on a match day ticket rather than fork out £800 a year.
