Die-hard Reds
In the past 12 months, Liverpool Football Club have been linked with a number of strikers, from Fabio Borini to Hugo Rodallega to Daniel Sturridge to countless others, as the team has scrambled to pick up its reeling attack and build on the lowly 47 goals scored in 38 games last season.

But not in that time has the club been linked with as elite a striker as Brazilian AC Milan attacker Alexandre Pato.

According to Sky Sports, Pato has admitted he would be interested in a move to the Premier League.

"At the moment I have a real taste for playing in the UK. I love English football. I have friends who play for Liverpool."

Alexandre Rodrigues da Silva, better known as "the Duck," joined Milan from Brazilian club Internacional in August 2007, and has since established himself as one of Europe's premier strikers, scoring 62 goals in 142 games for the Rossoneri.

Needless to say, Pato would revolutionize the Liverpool side.

The club, desperate for an injection of talent up front, would secure one of Europe's elite forward prospects with Pato's signature, and would surely solve their striker issues with one of the most natural goalscorers in the world.

That said, while the 22-year-old did speak of a potential move to England, he reaffirmed his desire to see out his contract at the San Siro, meaning the Reds would have to wait until 2014 to see him on Merseyside.

Pato would demand Champions League football, but a lot can happen in two seasons.

Liverpool will have to wait two seasons to complete the signing of the Brazilian, but when the year comes around, Pato could well find himself moving to Anfield.

 i bet he cant wait to play with carroll

Pato is no great shakes, so good he can't even make the bench in Milan.
Yet another throw-out who's club doesn't want, so let's have him then, give him over £100,000 PW, lol, 'cos believe me if Pato was any good Milan wouldn't want shot of him ASAP.
