Super Reds
It's time the FA, and the rest of them do something about the cheating and pretending to be injured thats making the game a joke. Last night game showed players falling over and looking like they had been shot at the slighest contact, sad to see even Alonso getting in the act pretending he's been caught on his head when there was none or very little contact. It's been said many times before but it's time we took a leaf out of rugby's refereeing and useage of the video ref

I doubt that we'll see a video ref anytime soon, although I do agree that something needs to be done.

I think we should take a closer look at the use of the ref putting players on report like they do in Rugby League. If the ref thinks something may have happened but didn't see it, then the player(s) involved get put on report to be looked at after the match. If there was any infringement of the rules then retrospective punishments are handed out. In RL, this generally relates to potential violent conduct, but I don't see any reason why football couldn't take the concept and adapt it to its own needs.

I think it would be fantastic to see a footballer rolling around on the ground like they'd been shot, only to find out the ref is suspicious and has put them on report. They would soon cut the shite out if they knew that they would be in with a chance of a punishment even though the ref wasn't sure at the time.

Nany is the best actor of all. I simply cant stand the little ######. Ref should know the worst offenders by now and not fall for their cheap tricks. Its spoiling the game...

Players who resort to such cheating should be sent straight to the treatment room and not allowed back on the pitch without a doctors certificate for the ref to see.
That would be fun,no?
