This thread is about C H A D, it has got nothing to do with Suarez....??

People lay into Carroll left right and centre yet he missed no less chances than Suarez did for us last season. I'm trying to take a balanced view rather than just resorting to slagging our players.

must say carroll would be my first name to get sold if i had a choice he is all thats wrong with the clumsy football being turfed out at lfc .

baza, it must also be said that Dalglish is not alone in sanctioning these signings, Comolli must also take some of the blame, & of course he did by paying the ultimate price-even if the CHAD list came from Dalglish himself-& he admitted as much after Comolli's sacking.
What i found funny was that alot was made was made of Henry's ‘Moneyball’ techniques that could identify quality players for relatively low money....
But of course it has not worked out that way at LFC, a tidy sum of £78m was pished away on CHAD & they have barely improved the team at all!?
Funny, 'cos in contrast, the Barcodes bought the likes of Demba Ba, Papiss Cisse, Cheick Tiote & Yohann Cabaye for relatively low sums and built a team, for far less than we paid them for Andy Carroll, but what's done is done, which is why there's not much point harping on & on about it, damage done now, let's get behind CHAD now for the new season hey!? ;)

Andy needs the right kind of wingers to deliver the most effective crosses over into the box...

True. He also needs players to anticipate that he will likely win most of the aerial duels and play off him. He should not be left isolated up front as it's a complete waste of his ability.

difference is Suarez contributes a hell of a lot more than what Andy does, agreed Suarez missed lots of chances but he creates all his chances himself. And y needs long balls and loads of balls into the box. We bought Downing for the balls into the box and Andy still cant get onto the end of them,
