I must say my falling out with football is now come to me giving up being a regular match going fan ,from the days of g&h i gave up my season ticket after 20 years of having it as a protest against the two conmen but last season i had the furtune to take over a firends season ticket for as long as i wanted as he moved abroad but i have decided this season i will not be going home or away on a regular basis due to a few factors,1 i have totally lost all conection with the way our club is run in that we can except our KING being treated so bad after two cup finals (despite his poor signings) 2 the money in football being so ridiculouse its obsene how much is being spent on players and wages,3 i see no enjoyment on lfc manegers and players getting abuse (even off myself)when they are fighting with there hands tied behind there backs trying to compete with multi billionair clubs that is not sport anymore its just money based sucsess .i will still go the odd game probably away from anfield but will no way class myself as a match going fan after 35 years of watc hing the reds :( :(

tbh bazza i do recall you wanted kenny to go as much as some others did too.
Thats the reason i say "they" not "we" more often than not when refering to the players or club.
As the younger fans are brought up they know no different now bazza...so they are more inclined to accept whats served up to them by the owners ,regardless of how good or bad it is.

I have always thought it ironic that since a certain Scum media mogul bought English football, turned into into a capitalist empire, and taken it away from the working class supporter, we've struggled in the EPL.

Is that too much of a coincidence?

Beside the hillsborough flame
I heard a kopite mourning
Why so many taken on that day
Justice has never been done
But there memory will carry on
There`ll be glory round the fields of anfield road.

Justice for the 96 RIP YNWA!!!

just wondering baz.
in the last 25 years who got us closest to the club
we were.
in terms of player quality,
atmosphere in the ground.
the clubs standing in Europe
in attracting top players.

and all under the ownership of the "conmen" as you say.

one day baz you,ll admit it.

and one day i,ll shut the ###### up. that's a promise mate.

rafa and houllier both got us to 2nd roy and kenny never got the time to finish what they started so i think there all equally as bad or good as each other ;)

jeezuz bazza if kenny n roy got the time they wanted(sure roy was glad he didnt with 8m in his back pocket for 6 months work and also kenny didnt walk away did he as some wanted to believe...no he got a 3m pay off which is why he came back realy imo..one last big pay day..so hes rather happy on the golf course and not bothered anymore)....had they stayed lfc were heading for the championship as both were as bad as each other.
Rafa was the nearest there has been to shankly and paisley...nearest to that level...more than houlier, evans and dalglish in his first stint as that was a team he inherited anyway.

you sure ?? raf won the champions league with houlliers team and got no higher in the prem than houllier and kenny or roy didnt get the time to prove there doubters wrong so for me there all equally as bad as each other but only one is a KING ;-)

yes and that was based n his time as a player and as a manager for first two years of his reign last time.
Imagine if brendan had been the one to buy the garbage kenny did...hed of been hounded out straight away.
It wasnt houliers team ...it was rafa that made crucial decisions to get lfc to final.

I liked Rafa anyway. And still do. Let's hope he wont be needed at Anfield again soon though.
