New Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers may not make that many changes to personell at Anfield this summer, explaining that the Reds were unlucky under his predecessor, Kenny Dalglish.

Dalglish was dismissed from the Anfield hot seat after a disappointing season for the club on and off the pitch. With Rodgers now at the helm, many have expected a complete overhaul of the squad.

However today Rodgers hinted that he may be happy to work with what hefs got, and getting the very best out of 2011Œs signings such as Andy Carroll, Jordan Henderson and Charlie Adam.

gIf you look at Liverpoolfs record last season Kenny was very unlucky because there were so many games they dominated but just failed to hit the back of the net,h he said.

gDefensively they were reasonably strong so it is a case of improving on what has been happening over the last couple of years and giving the players confidence to go and win games.h

In another article Mr Rodgers stated that there were very few players out there who could improve the Liverpool squad.

Bl**dy H*ll LFC have signed a manager that most on here would classify as deluded, as all those statements he has come out with are classic comments of "the Deluded". I like the guy even more - he is definitely one of us.

Maybe not a Walton though hey John Boy?

Get the taxi running , he still hasn't got a signing in and he has been with us for over a month , he is obviously a ditherer. Come to think of it , what has he been doing?
A tour of the trophy room , Guided tour of anfield , Tour of Melwood looking at busts (of Shankly) and pictures of legends.

I could do that job , go on gissa job , I could do that , I could sit in an office at Melwood looking at Pictures and certainly busts.

This was sourced from elsewhere and is paraphrased from BR's live interview with Talkshite this morning, where he definitively stated he is looking at 3-4 new players. The media are already misquoting a LFC manager - funny that.

I truly believe most of the media, Sly Sports included, are damned to see us become successful in the EPL.

Didn't realise that B.B, thanks for the clarification. One must be careful these days.

Was just gonna say the same BB! Thank christ for someone like you on here to be on the ball before the goons were able to rip LFC apart with their anti LFC agenda!

Why so many taken on that day

But there memory will carry on
There`ll be glory round the fields of anfield road.

3 or 4 new players for key positions...midfield and 1 in attack.
Hopefuly that comes to fruition and brendan has not been told by fsg to go with what he has got for now which will be no surprise for some if he has been told that.
