Scattered across the game were clues that would point to the Mole's Identity, I wonder if any of you spotted them... The number 9 At the beginning of the game each player was randomly assigned a numbered journal. By happenstance Colin was given #9. I was worried that this may make things rather obvious that Colin was the Mole...the mole had Journal #9, I'm author999, hell even in the avatars the case number: A999. But I took the chance and decided to have fun with it...and there were certainly a lot of number 9s out there during this game. There were 9 players actually playing the game and 1 mole. There are 9 total rooms in Clue. The Mole signed the Rules 9th. The password to the briefcase was 1323, 1+3+2+2=9. If you count how many Locked Rooms were in the Locked Room Category there were 9 Locked Rooms in total. In the Final Round a total of $90,000 was up for grabs. The Color Green Colors were an important element in this game Green is always a color you want to see...Green means safety in this game, Green will never be gone from this game, Green is all over this game. In almost every text in this game is the color Green and that should have given you a clue to The Mole. At the very top of the board the Logo is Green. It literally spells out The Mole is Green. In the Execution #3 Thread Sam posted this "Remember, you want to see a green screen come up, and I cannot stress how important that color is!" In the middle of the Maze there was a Green Thumbprint, the Mole's thumbprint. Mission Clues As stated before there was a clue in the Maze but there were also some other clues in the Missions themselves. In the Jigsaw Puzzle the Mole is the only person wearing red, the color of execution and death in this game. This is also the only time the Mole is not in his signature color. In the Dropdown Puzzle the final line of the puzzle is " Or don’t, it’s not like the money matters." This is a direct reference to the tag line of the show the Mole is most well known for Whose Line is it Anyway "Where everything is made up and the points don't matter" In the Final Mission if the players opened the briefcase they would have been met with ![]() More Green text and the signature line of Mr. Green from Clue the Movie. The Final Clue Ten players started this game and now we are down to only three. Here we will decide which of you will walk away as the winner of this game. Every single one of you should be proud of making it this far and for making this one hell of a fun game. Moreover I want to thank you all for joining me in this little experiment of a game. Overall I think that it was a great success and I hope to have even more mole games down the road. Last night after the final mission started I was sad to see this game drawing to a close but now that we’re here I’m so happy to see all of you and our fallen returning for the end of this game. Ecstatic would be the word for it actually now that I think about it. In the end there is much more to be said save for a few minor things. Sure some of you weren’t the most active, but I am only mad at one of you and it should be obvious who that is, but I thank you for the time you put into this since I know how busy life can be. Congratulations once again on a wonderful game and for putting your all into all aspects of this game. Often I worried just how a mole game could work but I think we found a good way to do this format after this experiment is over. Lessons were learned in this no doubt, but no one can deny that they aren’t better for it. It is always an odd day to see a game end but I think we are all ready for a winner to be crowned and for a mole to be found out. Now then, enough of this monologue and let’s get on with the show. As for the rest of my clue, which Miss Piggy has been asking about? It refers to the executions. There were some executions where I would only make one or two posts, but they are important ones. At the first execution, I posted this:
At the second execution, I posted this:
At the fourth execution, I posted just this:
At the sixth execution, I wrote two posts:
The first letters of each of these five posts spell out the mole's name. |
