GM Note It's dark out, and you decide that it's time to act. You're currently outside of your own home, about two blocks away from the town hall, and the streets are occupied only by the usual barflies of the night. You can see only a few feet ahead of you on this starlit night, and you reckon that the other more drunken members of the town can see far less. However, there is lighting for many of the main buildings in the town, such as the tavern and the town hall, and this allows you to make your way to your goal but also to be seen along the way. Under the guise of night, you think back on recent events. You exalted very recently, and not as the first in your age group. To your people, the gift of exaltation is a rare occurrence, and to have two champions born in a single generation is unheard of – so completely unthought of that there was no social system in place to handle such an event. The champion of this generation, the champion of your people, is not you. A childhood friend of yours had exalted only a month before you, and the town had focused all of it's efforts into the promotion of your friend as it's champion. But you know that your exaltation is greater than that of your friend, the power of the Unconquered Sun flows through you, and the ability of perfection combined with the power to lead is much greater than that of the warrior dragon of fire, Hesiesh. Although you're unaware of the lore behind the situation, you hear the call of the Unconquered Sun to rise above your friend and become the glorious hero of dawn – and that is why you will take it by force. Your friend rests in the town hall preparing for the final trial tomorrow, and is armed with the artifact sword of the town passed through generations. What has not yet been taken and will not until the trial is complete is the sheathe that goes with the sword, the current goal of your night's mission. You know it's position in the chieftain's hut, and feel as though you can get it by tomorrow and use it to challenge the final trial along side and against your friend using it's power. Anyone who catches you out at this time will know what you're up to, as the town is well aware of how you feel about the matter. Get to the town hall unseen. Edited by Lucas, Jan 29 2013, 06:45 PM.
