nike free 5.0 Inc.on Thursday will start auctioning 11 pairs of one-of-a-kind sneakers to raise money for OHSU Doernbecher Children's Hospital. The auction is an extension of an ongoing program, called Doernbecher Freestyle, which annually matches Nike designers with some of the hospital's patients. To mark the end of the program's eleventh year,Nike will sell 11 pairs of sneakers that combine the design elements of the 13 pairs of Nike skateboarding,or SB,shoes designed by Doernbecher patients. The shoes—called "What The Doernbechers"—continue the nike free flyknit 5.0 tradition of combining design elements of popular shoes, similar to what it does with signature shoes of athletes such as LeBron James and Kevin Durant."The 'What The' concept is all about combining different pieces from iconic models for a new and unexpected creation," said Michael Doherty, senior director of global brand presentation for nike air max 1 and long-time Doernbecher board member,in a news release."To us,there was no better way to celebrate the 13 unique SB designs over the first 11 years of the program than with a first-of-its-kind 'What The Doernbecher.'” Starting Friday and continuing for 10 days, nike air max thea print will auction 11 pairs of the shoes. It will sell one pair each in sizes 8-12 (including half sizes),13 and 14.Proceeds will benefit Doernbecher. The program has raised more than $11 million to date.Doernbecher will announce its next class of six Freestyle designers later this month. The next collection will be unveiled on Oct.23. welcome to our homepage:http://www.e-shopuk.net/ |
