Oh my god, these people are hopeless! Elaine shot down a few more players running in the open field. Haven't they learnt anything about stealth? The 5 S's and the M? It's been quite a while since the game has started, but it hasn't been called off yet. Elaine decided to roam around and chase down the remaining players. This should motivate them to get going! Besides, no-one's gonna even think about getting this flag if I stay here. --- Shit, I was supposed to be shooting people the whole time! Gene remembered the debrief earlier this day. No-one will notice, just get a gun and get going. I finally get to play with those things! He sprinted into the armory, the prospect of getting shot or stared at completely forgotten, and retrieved a gun with bright yellow paint. It's a shame I don't get to shoot Emmanuel, wait that's dumb! Get going already! He got out and patrolled the border, eyeing the wide open field with a maniacal grin. |

It almost seemed to be taking forever, finding one of these hidden flags. At one point she even wanted to give up her pursuit, but what good would that have done? The best she could possibly do was to keep searching, looking, and hiding from any potential shooters. Just when all hope seemed to be lost, she spotted a flag in the distance. Yes, it didn't look like all the flags were taken from the grounds. The only thing left to do now was to retrieve it and try not to get hit on her way to deliver it. From what she could tell, though, it was being guarded. That could be fun, but very stupid if she were to just run in there to take it. "No, I need to stay hidden and sneak my way towards it," she said softly to herself, in a whispered tone. It seemed luck was now on her side, and the one guarding the flag eventually had left it. She certainly would be able to gather the flag now, it was just the case of not being heard or seen by anyone else near by. So, slowly she made her way out of her hiding spot, feet barely making any noise against the earth below them. Though she couldn't help but to notice the amount of gunners increasing. Looked like whomever had gotten a flag, or gotten shot, was now on the other side of doing the shooting. What a bummer. It was a little too quiet where she was, and she couldn't trust the fact there was no noise to be heard. "Shit," she slowly backed away behind a building, and peered around it's corner to see if she could catch a glimpse of anyone. |

"Boo!" Gene blurted as he saw a face peer around a building and shot at it with questionable aim. He then dissolved into a fit of laughter. Shut up and get yourself together, you're never gonna hit anyone like this! Thought we all know it doesn't really matter ... hehe. |

If it wasn't for the loud 'boo' that was shouted out, she wouldn't have known to duck back behind the building. That was pretty stupid of whomever that was though, don't they know you shouldn't just blurt things out like that? Then again, even if he hadn't, she still would have been ok, considering that his aim was shitty anyway. Neena was glad though, that she had taken the precautions even though she heard no one near by just a little while ago. If she had just went out, she MIGHT have gotten hit. That would have been unlikely, perhaps. Again she peered over around the corner, wondering if he'd take another shot. Just so she could see if his aim was better than the first attempt. |

Gene looked up from his fit of laughter and saw the same face peering round again. He stared for a bit, grinning foolishly. What the fuck is this guy doing? Without a moments notice, he called out, "Hey you, ya want this gun? It could really help you get a flag! You can pretend you're one of us and not get shot! Not to mention you can shoot other people too! It's really fun, trust me!" |

Neena squinted her eyes, getting a little better of a look at the man as he began to speak. Did she want the gun? Sure she could easily get the flag that way, but how did she know she could trust him enough to take the chance? "How do I know I can trust you?" she questioned, "I can't be sure that if I come out from behind here, you won't just shoot at me." |

Abby hid and listened to one of the old privates taunt and scare one of the new girls. She knew he would probably give her the gun anyway, but she thought she could have a little fun with this. Abby ran up behind the soldier with the gun and quickly grabbed it out of his hands and threw it at and fellow Newbie. "Run" she whispered in her ear as she popped up behind her. Abby quickly disappeared behind the shed and scaled the roof. She'd leave the corner flag for the dark girl, she seemed capable. |

"Woah, nice skills!" Gene cheered as someone grabbed his gun and threw it towards the person hiding behind the corner. Better get another one! Gene raced back to get another gun, calling, "Good luck!" as he passed the girl at the corner. This time he headed straight behind the office building and grabbed the fence to steady himself from the head rush. He was still chuckling, but he started to feel like crying. What the hell, that was totally retarded! I know, it was pointless! It doesn't freaking matter! No-one cares! Yeah, it doesn't freaking matter, so just shut up! OK??? Ooh look at the shiny gun you got! Let's pay attention to that instead! With that, Gene started analysing the structure of the gun, taking it apart, putting it together and determining the functions of the parts. |

With a exasperated sigh, August finally got to his feet. He had taken all this time to carefully try to map out a perfect route. But seeing as the paintball gun shooters were moving around the base, it seemed to be an impossible task. He had finally just given up. Peeking out of the bathroom, he thought he saw a girl scale one of the buildings. "Man...how in the world..?" He whispered to himself. With one more glance around the area, August finally made a break for it. Ducking behind walls and buildings. By the time he was almost to the armory, he was out of breath. Seeing the flag pinned right onto the side of the building, August took a deep breath before just going for it. And he snagged it. Then ran for dear life towards the office building. August heard paintball shot after paintball shot, but didnt feel any splatter on him. Bursting into Major Oliver's office, August was deeply relieved to be in safety. "Oh dear God....Im going to have a heart attack..." August murmured, slunking to the floor. Looking up at the man before him, August gave Rob a shakey salute from his place on the floor. "I have it....sir..." he breathed. |

As if someone was listening in, it seemed another had just come out of no where, taking the gun from the man's hands before he could answer back. Neena grabbed onto the gun the was taken and thrown to her, holding it close to her chest for a few moments. 'Run?' she thought to herself, looking around but the other woman was no where to be seen. Yes, run, that's definitely what she needed to be doing. So taking the gun, standing up, she strolled out into the open with the gun at her side. Though, not before the one who originally had the gun ran by, wishing her luck. Good thing too, she probably needed it. With haste, she retrieve the flag from it's place, holding it in front of her eyes to get a good look at it. It was one of the flags, meaning she'd succeed, even if she did have a little bit of help. Now with flag, and gun, in hand, she took off as fast as she could to give it to Major Oliver. Even with all the soldiers with guns, they didn't seem to take notice in her due to the fact she had a gun as well. That was actually pretty good, especially since she was coming up close to the office. "This, was probably too easy," she said to herself, flag within her pocket, "but easy is better than nothing." Neena was them upon the door of the office. She just looked at his for a moment, then pushed it opened and made her way in. Inside was one of the other soldiers, a newbie right? Either way she stood before the two and pulled the flag from out of her pocket. "Sir!" she stood at attention, saluting with her other hand, "I've brought you one of the flags." |

Rob startled when August burst into his office. Instead of saluting back, he walked over and took the flag helping the man to his feet. He offered the man a paper cup of water from the water cooler in the corner of the office. "Are you alright?" Before August had the chance to answer, another person entered. It was a woman this time, clearly more capable than the wayward Private next to him, and Rob saluted her back. He took the two flags and folded them together with the others. "Well done, both of you," Rob said, gesturing toward a pair of chairs near the door. "Please, sit." |

August took the cup of water greedily and sipped on it as the second flag bearer came in. Sitting down at the major's command, he answered him, "Im alright....just a little freaked out. Uh.. sir." |

Freaked out? Rob almost bit his lip. If the guy was freaked out by a friendly little paintball game, then he's not going to take the news well. But, Rob reasoned, it might be good for him. It would be wasteful to have soldiers on the base who couldn't deal with the tension and pressure that came with battle. At least a trip to the city would be a somewhat controlled situation, and August could get used to it. Rob sat at his desk, leaning forward and templed his fingers, mentally preparing for reactions. "You're off-duty for the rest of the day, you'll want to get prepared, rest up- you two just won yourselves a trip to the city," Rob explained. "We're leaving tomorrow morning." |

Alexy Trudged through the sands breathing smoothly and calmly, he came to a stop on top of a hill looking around and Checking his surroundings, He could finally see the base. It had Been a Long ass patrol, he hefted his bag laden with equipment and adjusted his mask before beginning to walk to the bases entrance with a renewed Energy and purpose. The first up close sight of the base was not a reassuring one, Several Soldiers with guns running around the base chasing a bunch of new faces, he quickly picked up what was going on and Chuckles humorlessly, Initiation, Glad i was on patrol... By the time he had arrived in the camp, whatever he missed was over and he saw lots of soldiers and recruits covered in paintball splats, he walked to the dorm and removed his patrol coat and backpack dumping them in his footlocker and nodding to anyone who might be in there, his chiseled face Barely changing expression. Alexy then moved over to the command building to report his findings, Slipping into the building and standing just the the Left of the entrance at attention, Just as he always did. |

"Thank you sir," she said as she lowered her arm, looking over towards the chairs next to the door. Before she did, she gave a slight glance to the other soldier, then made her way into over to the chairs. She picked one that was closer to the door. Why? Neena wasn't all that sure either, but it was nice to sit anyway. The girl sat there, hands sitting within her lap, waiting for the Major to say something. When he did, it was a bit of a surprise to be honest. A trip to the city? What for? Though, being off for the rest of the day to rest up wasn't too bed sounding. "And, what are we going to the city for, sir?" she questioned the man curiously. Surely there was a reason, not like they were going for a nice little stroll. |
