Hegelian Dialectic
The dialectic is the framework for guiding our thoughts and actions into conflicts that lead us to a predetermined solution.
The dialectic is used by those who wish to change our way of thinking while giving us the illusion of free thinking. They purposely create a problem and when the people cry out for a solution they give us what appears to be somewhat of a compromise but is in fact what they were wishing to accomplish all along. The term "problem, reacion, solution" is usually used to explain the dialectic but it is a little more complicated in that the solution just creates a new problem and the cycle starts all over again until the main objective is reached.
The question I wish to put ou is, "How is this being played out in the upcoming presidential election?". I have noticed a certain mindset going into this election and wonder if I am alone. There is also the feeling of mass hypnosis, for lack of a better term, that seems to be prevailent in certain groups. No matter what you show the candidate has done it is excused even if the same activity is condemned when practiced by other candidates. What makes it OK for the candidate of these groups to be above the reproach of their own prejudices? What makes it possible?
