Sometimes you get to choose your comrades, and other times fate deals you cards that you have to play from. This is one of those other times.

Before you were even placed into teams, you were paired up with another person in the game: this is your secret partnership.

Whether you keep your pairing secret or not is up to you.

Be the last partnership remaining, and you will receive VFD spyglasses. You will be given the option to play your spyglasses immediately after every challenge and will be given five minutes. The spyglass serves as immunity, so if you play your spyglass, you are making yourself immune from the upcoming Tribal Council.

I forgot to add that just like the Sugar Bowl, spyglasses become worthless after the final five Tribal Council.

Hey Kit! It looks like we're partners. How did the vote happen last round? I was a little surprised to see that it was Jerome.

Yeah, the vote was a clusterfuck. I know that I didn't know who I was voting for so out of 8 people only 5 voted and it was a 3-1-1. Klaus and PIG got the other votes. With Hector around things are going to be a lot more weird, though I can only assume that Isadora and Duncan have something going on.

And yourself Phil?

A 3-1-1 vote? Wow. What a clusterfuck. I don't think I've ever seen that in an 8 player tribe. Well, at least it could have been worse. It looks like most of the voters at least came to a decision. It could have been a tie. Isadora and Duncan? Do you mean Isadora and Quigley?

I'm doing good! Thanks for asking. Our tribe is just relaxed basically. Nero apologized for not being here but has continued to not be here, and everyone knows that he's going to be going home if we lose. I haven't even gotten a PM from him since we were divided into tribes.

Yeah, I meant Isadora and Quigley. We're all super cool ,but we all know PIG's next to go. I'd assume hector isn't far behind either.

It wouldn't surprise me if they did. But I never knew either that well during the opening weekend. Do you think you'll be okay? At least it's only 2 players, if they do have a connection. I figured Pat was on the outs. I'm surprised he outlasted Jerome.

Our tribe has the obvious boot in Nero. Everybody else is active though and showed up for the challenge so it will be a little tougher. It might be Monty since he doesn't PM as much and doesn't know people since he wasn't around for the opening weekend, but it could easily change.

Thanks Phil! It was mainly myself and Isadora doing a lot of the work, but PIG, Hector and Sunny were also doing work. Quigley apparently had soemthing come up, so it's fine. Pardon my celebrating, but I have double of the posts of the next highest person, and I think that's pretty damn hilarious

For us, it was Carmelita and Violet spamming and the rest of us posting when we hit every fifth page. We thought it would make us more efficient but it didn't work out that way. And it's fine. When you make that many posts without making penalties calls, you deserve to celebrate :) And it's only Nero so I don't care.

Well I mean, I made like 6-7 mistakes total, and basically my strategy was to post until I got to lower on Page 4/9 etc. Then start possting my foder and then go alittle over to either 1/6 and then start posting again. It may have reduced the amount of "Evers" but it let me maximize posting efficiency since we just went all crazy together

That's a good strategy. We tried to be more careful but we ended up with a lot less points than I expected for how many pages we got up to, so we must not have been careful enough. We also stopped posting the Evers as soon as we got to the fourth or ninth page instead of waiting until we got lower down, so your strategy there was better.

So Olaf is going home. the PIG has been at every challenge and Olaf hasn't been at any challenges. It's only fair for PIG at this point.

Thanks. That makes sense. Just as long as you're safe. I'm surprised Olaf didn't participate more. I saw him online a lot and I assumed he was pretty active.

The funny thing is, if everyone here votes Olaf, then the vote should be 5-0 and in a Survivor game, that's an inordinate thing, but a possibility. I may go inactive next week for challenges, but I think I should be safe? If we get on the same team, try to keep me around, k? I know that I should be able to PM people, but just not do challenges.

It's not that inordinate. Our vote for Nero was unanimous as well, although I guess it's different since Olaf isn't as inactive as Nero. It's actually pretty lucky for your tribe to be on the same page and have an actual unanimous vote. And if that happens, I'll try my best to keep you around but I don't know if I'll have any power. It depends on what the tribe looks like and if there even is a swap. I think you should be fine with not being able to participate in challenges. These challenges have been mostly built so only about half the players needed to participate.

Yeah, though I feel like my brother is trying to make everyone hate him with his challenges. Either way though, I think that we can certainly get close and far together. If I survive the round and I figure out the Sugar Bowl clue, I'll gladly share my work with you.

The votes were all great, by the way. (I got the OK to post these from my brother)
