((OOC: It does minus my usage except for cars and jet fuel. In terms of oil burning powerplants, I don't need them. I only need fuel for cars, jets, etc. But I am very able to supply my own.))

OOC: I've eliminated imported oil with my nuclear powerplant project which was just completed and British Petroleum (along with other British oil/natural gas companies) produces 1,636,000 bbl a day (and in this thread I'm increasing it).

ADMIN: OK, this nonsense stops now. 6.5 MWe is NOT enough to fully phase out your oil usage for energy.

You currently consume 348,500,000 megawatt hours
Your nuke plants you just built add 56,979 MWh to your production.

Your oil powered plants currently produce 38% of your electricity IRL

348,500,000 X .38 = 132,430,000

What does this mean?

It means that you have to produce 132,430,000 MW of energy to phase out oil, you have only added 56,979

OOC: I got my info from various sources... but I'll try and gather what I can.

This is the main wiki article

This is the mention of the barge-test launches.

And this here is a an image I was planning on using to describe the testing of the re-entry module.

Basically, the Arrow was one of the top three contenders for the X-prize, a 10 million dollar competition aimed at inspiring and stimulating the space tourism industry. They went for a cheap yet ingenious design by taking a V-2 rocket casing, and filling it with modernized parts. The final prototype is estimated to be able to surpass the X-prize goal height of 100 km.

The design has since been bought by a company called PlanetSpace, which hopes to further develop the rocket for space tourism (since the X-prize competition is pretty much over).

I realize though that PlanetSpace is a Canadian-American company, so I might have to ask permission to use it. Or I could try to buy it out, since I'd really like Canada to establish a strong and independent space industry in this.

ooc: umm... everything i found on PlanetSpace is that its an American company, not a Canadian-American company. It just serves all of North America. but is solely my company.
