ADMIN: Westpac is actually worth much more than that, both you and midna are wrong. Value is not determined by Revenue, or Income, it is by shares, and share price. Westpac has, according to google finance, 582 million shares, selling at 77 dollars a pop. That totals to over 44 billion USD for total company worth |

It is estimated another 700k ZX40 have been sold since the subsidies kicked in. The production is barely able to keep up with demand, and in most cases there are shortages of said vehicles. 250k more BYD e6 have been sold as well. Initial numbers put around 500k more gasoline passenger vehicles now off the road, traded in to help pay for the purchase of an electric car. These gasoline powered cars are to be recycled, and the materials put back into our metal hungry nation. The cigarette tax is bringing in the estimated dollar amount, and the full amount of money is being put primarily into our Wind & nuclear program, military budget, and Electric car subsidation. CLASSIFIED BYD, Chery, Chang'an, and DFM will shut down a total of 7 plants for conventional cars, and those factories will be retooled to produce fighter aircraft, however will remain dormant after conversion. Workers in those plants will become part of the workforce of the new factories. |

OOC: Thats too much for me...I would like to buy Bank South Pacific from Papua New Guinea. I can't find anything on stock or prices though. Its revenue is only $400 million in Papua New Guinean dollars so its not too big... |

OOC: Technically KJ, under your 'free market economy', those companies wouldn't be 'bailed out', they would be allowed to FAIL because they were destined to FAIL. The current USAF tanker contract would like to talk to you, because right now we're not getting a tanker because some senators in our government are pulling for Boeing, instead of allowing other states to gain jobs under Airbus/Northrop Grumman with the A330 tanker. So yes, I would like to think that a country does care if another nations' companies start moving in. Everybody except for you does this in the first place, and as far as I can see there haven't been any problems with the system. But bleh, argument doesn't even really matter since I'll be wrong anyway. |
