Palikir takes back to helping Niue build itself up. The mines offshore continue their operation now under Oceania Heavy Industries who has bought the mines from Palikir. OHI has further helped the island by opening a factory in the Fonuakula Industrial Park that will use timber from the island to build island theme furniture and another that will build small boats. Pacific Air has resumed service to the island for tourism which is another major sector of the island's economy. Micronesia's hotel chain on Pohnpei has gathered funds to build a $200 million hotel on Niue to further facilitate tourism. Niue's farmlands created back under the old Micronesian rule are to be refertilized and have more comport and nutrients added where needed. The schoolhouse is to be repaired as well as the medical clinic on the island as it was not maintained over the last few years and the runway of the airport is to be fixed. Boards in the docks are also being replaced by islanders. |

Germany has poured billions on new energy reforms. Wind power along with Solar power are being researched in the most. Cars throughout Germany will be running on pure ethanol within the next 5 years. Volkswagon and Mercedes will be the first to transit from Gasoline to Ethanol. The German economy hs been stagnated for too lone. New moves to further improve the German economy are under way. With more High schoolers graduating and staying off the streets, More students are applying for college. Colleges are running out of space and the German government has placed 10 new universities under construction and will accepted all who have been rejected due to space. |
