The Dokdo build-up is 10% complete.

The Synchrotron is 48 months from completion.

Pyongyang has become rather a big tourist site for Koreans themselves. Tours are held in the old government buildings where the North Korean government would never have let normal citizens within those walls without being dead first. The Korean government plans to make Pyongyang a second Seoul. It will be a massive capitalist venture throughout the city to create another major trade center in Asia.

Dr. Abdul Azim Wazir, governate of Cairo, has expressed great interest in the creation of two vertical farm systems as proposed by Chris Jacobs, Andrew Kranis, and Gordon Graff. The idea of cheap, year-round production of food in close proximity to the capital has greatly appealed to Wazir, who has begun working hard to stop the food shortages and price rises in Egypt.

President Hosni Mubarak has also expressed interest in working to lower food prices, and has therefore removed any and all regulations as to how much food a farmer may produce. Tax breaks, as high as 15% of income, are also given to farmers to allow the production to be easier and the prices to be lowered.

In addition, the President has announced that a large program made to increase agricultural production areas by nearly four million acres is to begin within the year. A plea to the United States has been made for donated funds to aid in this program, which would lower Egyptian food imports and possibly allow for food donations to nations in need.

Part of this massive project will be the creation of a canal between the Qattara Depression and the Mediterranean Sea/Nile River. Massive farms would be built in the area, using canals to transport the water to each farm area. In addition, the canals would have a series of dams to allow for hydro-electricity to be produced for the rapidly growing Egyptian population.
