Due to a total lack of international interest in selling weapons of quality to South Africa, programs to develop the Olifant II and a new South African fighter are given the green light. Cape Town is asking countries if they have any large container ships for sale. (Size must be big enough for conversion to a carrier, they do not know why I am buying it though, classified.) |

China offers to sell a 900 foot container ship for 200 million USD. The ship is a retired coal hauler, and is in relatively OK condition |

A 1,500 foot ship was sold for $39 million. (Knock Nevis) We feel that that is too high of a price for a retired ship. |

The prototypes are undergoing more work, and are shooting for a launch in 4 months. Each satelite will work by using Infrared imaging to detect the extremely hot launch of a satelite or ICBM |

We only wish to sell 49% to a foreign nation. We have seen how easily a nation can be crippled if a main defense contractor is even majority owned by a foreign nation. |

Then we will make the deal as long as all Chinese orders have priority over ANY foreign orders. We would also like access to all blueprints, so we can open a few HAL factories in China and start filling orders as well. OOC: ironic that it was you who gave them that distrust

The Singapore Advanced Man Combat System has received full clearence to be installed into the gear for every soldier of the Republic and become standard for their forces over the next few years. It will feature a radio to shareinformation, data, and voice communications to other friendly forces as well as built in GPS to track the soldier's movements and his allies. A portable communication keypad will allow for easy information input and hotkeys to call for medics, on contact, and other important messages and assisstance requests will be availible. The brain of the ACMS, the portable computer processes data collected by sensors, GPS, other ACMSs and user input to provide real-time information updates on the battlefield. The head mounted display (HMD) can switch its displays from a digital map to satellite images of the terrain to videos captured by the various sensors. Through the HMD, soldiers can see locations of targets and friendly forces which are plotted on the digital map. Weapons will have imaging equipment mounted to them allowing soldiers to send images back to command and fire around corners without exposing themselves. In addition to the ACMS, soldiers are equipped with remote sensors such as a surveillance ball, a remote-control surveillance car and a key-hole sensor. The protector class is going to have a small missile system in addition to its Typhoon weapons to provide additional firepower to troops where it can go and will be fully implemented into the system along with the other Singapore vehicles, ships, and aircraft. |
