MEC wishes to purchase enough modern machinery from Ottoman Empire to cover all of the renovations and new industry projects. Also, after looking over the economic spending of some of the nations involved, a portion of the $47.3 billion surplus Iraq has will be used to cover the small deficit we are currently experiencing as well as some of the spending being done. $24.556 billion will be used to cover the deficit. MEC is also cutting the $1 billion pledged to Iraq to help with export guarantees and soft loans. Also cut is the $307 million sent to Palestine and the $240 million sent to Afghanistan. The above will be used to cover the rest of the deficit. |
