I hope you don't mean Aston-Martin BredaMenarinibus and Maserati S.p.A et al will be called Ford? Otherwise we fear the general managers of Ford have little to no comprehension of brand marketing.

Today a business conglomerate endorsed by Prime Ministerial Candidate Costel Barbu announced a lucrative deal with the Romanian government for a massive infrastructure redevelopment project which aims to renew the road, rail, bridge and river travel systems.

Many of the new developments will be toll systems which will help recoup the initial $40bn combined investment from business and government. The project's aim is to rejuvenate a tired transport network and provide guaranteed employment for tens of thousands in a desperate bid to escape the recession.

The States' fishing industry has fired up with a bang now that foreign fishing is dying down as liscenses are expiring and not being renewed. Experts state 500 or more foreign ships fished in State waters and current fishing levels could be largely increased without diminishing or harming populations. With the State's new modern fishing fleet thanks to the generosity of Hyundai and Samsung, catches coming in are finally working for the benefit of the States themselves.

The Pohnpei Fishing Corporation is finally logging profits as fish pour in to be processed and shipped out. Caroline Fishing Corporation, Yap Fisheries, Chuuk Fresh Tuna Inc., Yap Fresh Tuna Inc., and Krosae Sea Venture all have their processing plants running full steam and even hired additional help to work night shifts with all the catch coming in rather then going overseas.

The FSM Fishing Fleet now contains fifty modern freezer factory trawlers and about twenty-five smaller trawlers. Combined the vessels are bringing in nearly 100,000 tons of fish per outing. The ships not limited by seasons like in more arctic regions, can make almost fifteen to twenty outings per year depending on how long it takes to fill their holds. Smaller vessels fishing close to shore without massive freezers can make almost 40 outings in a year. The last of the massive factory trawlers has arrived from overseas sellers.

Estimates suggest combined with the small output from the shoreline farms and once the fleet is in full operation, the Federated States could have a multi-billion dollar fishing industry.

FSM fishing companies all have planned expansions to their onshore storage and processing plants. Luckily most of the factory trawlers can process the fish aboard themselves, they still need to store it before its shipped out and process the fish that come in from the smaller boats and the local fisherman usually only having one private boat.

Palikir's estimates beleive $1.025 Billion in fish will be brought in by her new fishing fleet while subsistence and private fisherman will bump this figure to nearly $1.05 Billion in fish. A program through the government is being started the help citizens find and finance purchasing larger fishing vessels from overseas to replace little outboard motor boats and rowing craft so they can make an income and bring in hauls.

Coastal fish farms will also continue raising fish and looking for new ways to expand yields.

Underemployment however is getting to be an issue as manpower is in very high demand. Workers however are doing very well and the average income of FSM citizens has increased significantly.

Vertical farming
Wasn't there a huge debate over these that ended up in them being banned?

- Skyfarms are banned.

As an alternative you should really go for bio-diesel fuels, vegetable oil processed into usable gasoline. Brazil has already started investing considerable amounts in this kind of technology. If my memory serves me right, they've got whole corn fields dedicated specifically for bio-diesel.

OK so not corn, it's something called castor-bean. But the point stands, Brazilians are practically world leaders in the bio-diesel development, if what I found is right.

ADMIN: Because everyone was creating a million of them and not recognizing their HUGE downsides. Instead of getting into the inevitable 4 page argument with each member i decided to ban them alltogether

[OOC]I wasn't here when it happened, but from what I gather some players couldn't control themselves and started building vertical farms by the dozens, claiming over-the-top economic bonuses. In the ends the debate reached an impass and the Admin just banned them outright.

Oh and more detailed evidence for you by the way. This one not from Wiki.

In 1977, Brazilian Scientist, Expedito Parente produced biodiesel-using transesterification with ethanol and filed a patent for the same process, this process is classified as bio diesel by international norms, conferring a standardized identity and quality. Currently, Parente’s company, Tecbio is working with Boeing and NASA to certify bioquerosene (bio-kerosene), another product produced and patented by the Brazilian Scientist.

Bio-diesel is more probable and realistic than sky-farms anyway, I suggest you go for it. You already have the infrastructure laid out and everything. According to the articles I'm seeing

As of 2005, there were 3 refineries ((in Brazil)) and 7 that are planned to open. These three factories were capable of producing 45.6 million of litres per year.

Ford:
AutoVAZ (joint venture with Russia aka Lada)

That's GM, not Ford, dealing with Lada.
