- The first prostitution company opened in downtown Busan. Three more followed opening in Seoul and Incheon. - Construction of the new Seoul City Hall has been going smoothly, but the actual new building has yet to begin. ![]() Demolishing (part) of the old city hall. Some of the old building is to be preserved for cultural preservation efforts. However, this is not a concrete decision. The new building is to be connected to the old. It's design is completely unique to any other world city. ![]() ![]() ![]()

Costel Barbu has publically ridiculed the Iron Cross' attempt to bring party funding into disrepute. "Are the Iron Cross so naieve that they believe that political parties operate in an international vacuum? Just about every serious political body in the world has a wide range of sponsors both internally and externally, clearly Miss Peršuh has demonstrated she is in no position to govern." Unfortunately, Dr Barbu's message fell on deaf ears to all but the most politically astute as local satire shows mocked the donation 'scandal' . Anton Jožef Parlić of the Ecologists further hurt the cause when he apologised for taking the money and handed it back to the foreign sponsors. Currently the spectrum looks like this: Social Democratic Party 22% National Liberal Party 18%-Greater links with Russia. Ecologist Party of Romania 8% Democratic Alliance of Romania 23% Iron Cross 22% Other 7% |

It was decided that the Jeju Commuter Route will start construction now, instead of the previous plan of starting after the first two were completed. Although the war is over, the military is still strongly needed up in the north to keep things under control while the transition is taking place. This means that every capable man and woman is to either work full time, go to school full time, or join the military. An incentive to help in the Korean Bullet project was made, offering ₩12,000 extra for each pay period for workers (although that exact amount varies on the type of job one receives). The same offer was made for those who work on the construction of the expansion of the Kori Nuclear Power Plant. This project is also getting a large amount of attention. Now that North Korea and South Korea are no more, and the birth of the now united Republic of Korea has happened, thousands of south Koreans are expressing great joy in it and unemployment has been down by almost 5% since the war began. A generally good mood is felt throughout South Korea. North Korea is the opposite. All major cities practically lie in ruin and small skirmishes still breakout in varying areas of North Korea. The border is still shut down to all civilians, and the Americans guarding the border have been alerted to arrest any civilian, south or north Korean. Reconstruction will be a tiresome effort, and transitioning the oppressed North Koreans over to the South Korean way of life will be hell upon itself. The future is still unknown for the North Koreans, but until tensions die down, transitioning cannot begin. Engineering crews have been brought in to survey much of the landscape. Reconstruction should begin within the next two months, possibly three. Reconstruction will begin near the border, South Koreans wish to rebuild North Korea bottom to top. This is seen as an easier strategy. For now though, heavy occupation will remain throughout North Korea. |

Korean investors are finding that the Iron Cross is quite ill-mannered. Corporations that have donated funds will not accept taking it back. Costel Barbu's message should be heeded, as he is most certainly correct. If the Romanians are too blind and deaf to see the real culprit, then Romania will certainly have a bleak future. |

Costel Barbu turned over the morning newspaper with disgust, another misinformed, lying headline landed on the passenger seat of his car. Are people actually that stupid? He thought, angrily. He indicated left and turned the executive saloon into an underground car-park of an office he had been instructed to go to. He locked the door behind him and walked over to the elevators where a man in an immaculately cut suit waited for him. "Doctor Barbu, welcome." He said with a gravelly voice. "You should know that I don't appreciate cloak-and-dagger meetings like this." He said, meeting the suited man's gaze who turned and led them into the elevator. He turned a key in the control panel and the elevator sped up the building. "Doctor!" A voice said as the doors opened onto a fabulous penthouse suite "Please, come in, help yourself to a drink, we have much to discuss." "Then let's discuss it." He replied, sitting down on a cream minimalist sofa. "Very well. My name is unimportant, what I do could help rescue this election." He announced, sliding the morning's newspaper across the glass-topped coffee table. "We both know that the true threat to Romania rests with one woman." "Alije Peršuh." Costel said. "Exactly. The Iron Cross has been rallied around her. She's not just a figurehead, she is the body of the hydra. If we remove her, the Cross will follow." The unknown man said confidently. Costel narrowed his eyes. "Are you talking about what I think you're talking about?" He asked guardedly. "The latest polls show she has a good chance of becoming Prime Minister and at least high representation in the Houses. We can both see the end of Romania if she is elected." He said "I can dispose of that threat. Just one bullet and the future of this Nation is assured." **** Alije Peršuh leaned in to the speakers as the 'assassin' delivered his script. The tape recorder was picking up everything and, regardless of his answer, her PR men and women could spin the whole meeting to look like it was Dr Barbu's idea. **** Costel looked at the man with mild shock. Then stood up and moved for the elevator. "I'm sorry, I cannot condone this and you can rest assured that this criminal activity will not go unpunished!" He shunted the suited man aside and clicked on the 'Car Park' button. He had a bad feeling about that man and was sure this wasn't the last time he would see him. |

Costel Barbu has been arrested today following allegations that he attempted to secure the services of an assassin to target the Iron Cross candidate, Alije Peršuh. It is alleged that Dr Barbu met the Assassin, currently under observation by the security forces, in his penthouse apartment in downtown Bucharest. A CD released to the media by a police insider records the following conversation: Alleged Assassin - "We both know that the true threat to Romania rests with one woman." Dr Barbu- "Alije Peršuh." AA- "Exactly. The Iron Cross has been rallied around her. She's not just a figurehead, she is the body of the hydra. If we remove her, the Cross will follow." Dr B- "Are you talking about what I think you're talking about?" AA- "The latest polls show she has a good chance of becoming Prime Minister and at least high representation in the Houses. I can dispose of that threat. Just one bullet and the future of this Nation is assured." [static] Dr Barbu defended himself as he was taken into custody yesterday, declaring that he was innocent. Alije Pershuh made a press release just hours after his arrest "In many ways I am sad for Dr Barbu, not angry, this is the last roll of the dice from a disgraced politician. I wouldn't be at all surprised to find that other parties have taken their own steps to ensure their dubious victory. I can tell you all that this will not stand, so far the Iron Cross have remained steadfast in their devotion to this country even whilst others are prepared to sacrifice it for their own bitter needs." |

The Commission For Pacific Island Culture Preservation (CPICP) has been founded by a group of historians, cultural leaders, and government officials. The aim of this commission is to ensure the history, culture, and unique make up of the islands within the Federated States of Micronesia and across the Pacific Ocean are not lost. Identity is desired to be kept so the rich heritage can be enjoyed by tourists and future generations of the islanders. It is mostly volunteer, though can request funds from the government for preservation projects and awareness events. Though not bound to do so, Palikir will heavily heed the word of the commission. |
