We agree to this and will help in doing so. Our borders shall be purely a political entity.

Russia is curious why they are not satisified with the MiG-21 LanceR, but will offer the MiG-29UBT

ooc: question, is that 5 billion USD or 5 billion yen? cuz either way it is far too little for the F-15FX is 1 trillion yen or just over $10 billion USD for the total procurement costs.

IC: The US is still willing to go forward with the F-15FX.

With the Recent release from the World War II Surrender terms, Japanese Legislatures have sat down, to either amend the Constitution or re-write the whole thing. The Main focus is to remove Article 9 from the Constitution, this will likely force the constitution to be rewritten.

To the US and Russia: Beyond our word, there is very little we can offer. This is part of a modernization scheme that began in 2004. We are upgrading more heavily than originally planned because we plan to contribute more effectively to the peacekeeping endeavours of the UN and NATO.

Quite simply this is for the dignity of our nation, to show to the world and to our people that Romania is not simply a 'taker' on the world stage.

How much would Russia be willing to part with the MiG-29 designs for?

America is ordering the remaining 676 M1 Abrams tanks to be modified to the M1A2 SEPTUSK configuration. The 540 M1A2SEP (including the 240 with SEPv2) are also ordered to be modified to the SEPTUSK configuration. This modification will include modifying the tanks to the SEPv2 that have not been previously modified to that version.

The M1 Abrams have all been converted to M1A2 SEPTUSKs.

The 240 M1A2SEPv2 have also been modified to the M1A2 SEPTUSKs.

300 M1A2SEP remain to be converted.

The president responds:

We apologize for not informing you. We are just looking to expand our air force some. I also have a distaste for the number 260.

Very Well, we will go forward with the F-15FX However seeing the sizable debt that Japan holds from the United states, we will pay for the first 50, and will cut 5 billion from the debt for the second 50, upon delivery. Current Debt is about 661 Billion Dollars, if our calculations are correct.

Understood. We would also like to employ Russian Defence contractors to prepare the factories and train our workforce to produce them. Hopefully this can be the start of a close Romanian-Russian relationship.

That is acceptable.
