The Federated States has yielded over 4000 acres of agricultural products on Nauru pulling in nearly $40 million annually in coffee, bananas, and other tropical fruits and nuts. Small animal farming has also pulled in a few million dollars and saved alot of former imports from having to be renewed. |

Micronesians heading into the new SIT HI University begin taking Computer Science, Engineering, Manufacturing Technologies, Business, Management, and Finances/Economics. This new wave of educated workers is greatly looked forward to in the workforce. The Bank of the Federated States of Micronesia has also begun expanding her influence an opening branches on newly added islands to the country. Backed by the FDIC, it has huge advantages over many other small banks outside the U.S. It has expanded its client base and with alot of new wealth entering the country, it is getting more affluent business associates and with the incoming deposits, the ability to expand and invest. The bank and the government (legislation) are working to make the Federated States an offshore banking haven like the Cayman Islands, The Isle Of Man, Switzerland, and several other places have become. This would bring alot of benefit to the country and the bank. Pacific Airways has been formed by merging a few small private charter routes, Air Marshall Islands, and Air Nauru. It will host charter routes between Yap International, Pohnpei International, Kosrae International, Nauru International, Niue International, and the airstrips on each island in the country. It will also take over some routes to the mainland its previous airlines ran. With foreign airlines adding routes to the States, this is a good chance for her national airline to get in the race. |
